Bing's Bakery celebrates 70 years in business and we are very proud to be Delaware's longest running bakery. FREE and ample parking available.

Story

Bing’s Bakery, a Delaware landmark founded in 1946 by Russell and Selina Bing, has been faithfully serving the Delaware community for 70 years.

Here at Bing’s Bakery we are a full-line scratch bakery that is a one-stop shop for your special occasion including a variety of freshly baked products such as pastries, cakes, breads and our very own butter cookies.

In 2005, ownership of Bing’s Bakery switched hands from Selina Bing to her head baker, Tom Guzzi, and his wife, Carla. Tom has over 25 years experience in the industry and has worked in scratch bakeries his entire career. Tom worked for Bing’s Bakery since 1996 prior to becoming the new owner.

Great place for cakes and baked goods. They have made several cakes for me and all have been great. Amazing family run small business. Pastries and cookies are great to and make wonderful gifts especially during holidays. Be sure to also try their other place not far away for coffee too.
This place looks delicious Just happened to pop in because of the huge influx of people that were coming out of the store! Purchased four 4 milk chocolate pretzels. Sara was so kind and courtesy while she assisted us and I'll be back just because of her. Thank you
Very organized with plenty of friendly staff eager to help you. We're originally from NY, now in MD, and we can't find really good Italian pastries near us. So we drove to Bings. Their Black & Whites were outstanding! As good or better than we had in NY. My wife loved the Rugelach she tried the chocolate, and Cinnamon Walnut. I tried a "Lemon Drop" ? cookie that was just ok. But I think I just thought it was going to be a lemon iced ricotta cookie. It was just just a bit too dry for my liking. We highly recommend trying Bings.
Amazing quality cupcakes! We ordered a cake for our daughter's Baptism, and they were the best cupcakes that we have ever had! The cake was beautiful! We will be ordering all our special occasions cakes from here, from now on!
It is one of the best and busy bakeries in and around Newark. Staff were very friendly and helpful . The cake I took was one of the best cake I have ever ate. It was so yummy and delicious . I will definitely, recommend their cakes and visit the store if you are looking cakes for occasion.
This bakery is awesome! The cake was completely amazing. Not only did it look great, it was moist inside and the frosting was perfectly creamy and not too sweet. Thank you Bings for another great cake!
Bing's bakery is an incredible option for all your tasty treats! Been going there for a dozen years and I've never had a complaint.
I love Bing's! All kinds of treats to pick up for a spur-of-the-moment thought, or you can order custom ahead of time. Treats are always delicious and fairly priced for the quality. Staff are friendly and efficient. My husband and I also had a wedding cake consultation there and they had an amazingly large selection of cakes and fillings, all of which were delicious, and a large set of photos for design inspiration. We ultimately chose another bakery because the design was a little more to our preferences, but we wished we could have had Bing's cake flavor choices with the other baker's design!
The Cake was actually amazing and custom decoration done by them was superb for my son’s birthday. But a little sweeter for our taste buds. Overall great taste!!
So I am dating a new guy and he took me here to pick out a desert for our one month anniversary! He got me a delicious strawberry shortcake That even my grandmother loved, walnut oatmeal cookies, chocolate covered pretzels, and an oatmeal raisin cookie. I just had a fantastic experience and everyone was super helpful very sweet. And I love the Nostalgic vibes of the place. Only thing that was missing were the peddle pushers! Sidenote: this suitor just broke up with me the other day over some foolishness. Please like this message and perhaps the universe will send him back. Lol
