Biryani Cart

I have tried their Chicken Biryani. It had the Basmati rice with grilled chicken, salad and few sauces. Taste was okay but it’s definitely not the authentic Biryani.

We first went here over 10 yrs ago when we visited NYC. My friend highly recommended their Kati rolls :. We loved it so much we included it in our photo memory book for this epic trip. Now 2022, I’m back and happened to stumble on it late one nite! I couldn’t believe it was the same cart and asked the cook who confirmed they’ve been here for 17 yrs! I got the lamb kati roll again extra spicy and it was just as mind blowing this time around! Thankful that they’ve made it thru the pandemic and hope they continue to thrive for a long time!

How can you say you’ve won an award when your chicken was over cooked and hard to chew, no other taste other than “spicy”. Where was the advertised herb taste??? Kwik Meal halal cart is way better

Got two Kati rolls and they were fantastic! One of my friend’s favorite street food vendors. The chicken was so tender and the rolls were very flavorful. Great price too!

Excellent food, not so oily, best indian food in New York with very reasonable prices, quick delivery. I will again buy the tasty indian food from this Biryani Cart. The kati rolls tasted very delicious as well as the Biryanis.

It's extremely average. The Kati rolls all contain the same chicken filling and hardly any of the sauces that are mentioned The Biryani was just yellow flavored rice with three small pieces of chicken. There was 5 times more chicken in the roll. There are many other better places. Pass on this one.

One of the tastiest biryani i have eaten. The flavours just work and dance in my mouth. Well spiced and very creamy. Texture is right. Not enough meat so maybe ask for extra meat. Edit: I went back a second time... Asked for extra chicken and he made it extra spicy.... It's even BETTER! This guy cooks! Seriously the price is so good and food so good. Out of all the venders I walked past, this guy cooks so diligently. He respects food. I approve!

We were extremely satisfied by the quality of food and the service of Biryani Cart. The Biryani is delicious, there wasn’t a single dish which did not live up to our expectations. Definitely a great dining experience here and a place I would strongly recommend. Fantastic

Stopped by and got some lamb over rice to split with someone and ended up turning back around after they tried it to get a other order so we could each have our own. Good food and good prices. I'd go again.Recommended dishesLamb Kati Roll, Lamb over Rice

Great midtown food cart serving Indian specialties like Byriani and Kati Rolls. Ask for everything spicy. Eat whatever you order in Bryant Park a few blocks down.Food: 5/5
