This is really amazing food restaurant. I love this because if their services and friendly behavior. They always try to make happy their customers. Great thai food with very reasonable price.
Great Thai food at a reasonable price.
Very friendly good pad Thai chicken quick service
I really like the Masman Curry. The food is relatively quick as long as you go slightly off peak. Portions are good and the price is decent considering it's midtown. My only gripe is their tofu is a little chewy. Not the kind I'm used to eating. It's cooked and all, just not the texture I'm used to. That said, I go once every week.
A guilty pleasure, fast food-adjacent lunch cart. The pad see ew is pretty good - the noodles have really addictive flavor and texture, though there’s barely any veggies. I got it with tofu, which is fried instead of baked - delicious but made the dish even heavier. The wait was about 10 minutes at noon. Bottom line I’d go back to try the curries.
This food truck pumps out good Thai food. The Thai iced tea is a 5/5 stars. It's perfect and smokey and satisfying. It looks really cool the way they don't mix the tea with the milk for you, the density layers look pretty cool. Prices are reasonable - $7 for green curry with tofu, served with rice and lettuce. $3 Thai iced tea. Service is friendly and they are really grateful when you tip. Green curry is really delicious here. And the pad kee mao drunken noodle is always tasty and satisfying. The tom yum soup is great. Not overly fish sauce-y like I've experienced at other Thai places. The food is quality, but isn't always reliable. I've gone here a number of times and they've almost always run out of something crucial to my meal. Green curry, red curry, tofu, chicken, etc. I don't usually take lunches too late, and I haven't experienced this at other food trucks in the area so I've grown to learn that if it's past 1230-1 it may be a waste of my time to wait on the ordering line only to be told what I want they don't have. It also takes significantly longer than most other local food trucks. It may just be the nature of cooking Thai food. That could be. I'm certainly not saying don't go, it really is good quality food. Portions are nice sized and I've never not been full after eating here. They have a minimum of $10 on credit cards. It's actually the only reason I ordered the Thai iced tea - very glad I did. My meal wouldn't have come to the minimum if I didn't. Definitely give it a try!
Could I go any lower? I ordered a Pad Thai Vegetarian and what I got was a dried noodle with no sauce, no vegetables. When I asked for a fix, instead of replacing with a new one, my item was taken back and extra sauce poured over it and given back. Would not recommend.
Was there on 9/1 at 1:45 p.m. Took fully 20 minutes waiting on the sidewalk to get my order of Chicken Basil and dumplings other customers waiting similar times. The Chicken Basil was almost inedible as too spicy and I like my thai and other foods spicy. And they included no fork in my bag so when I sat down in a public space to eat I was screwed. Yes, hated it. On the bright side the Thai dumplings were good when I finally got back to my office and got a fork to eat them with.
The pad thai is really well made, ask them to be light on the chili powder if you don't want it too spicy since the stuff they use is really strong. Only downside is that food took a while to be made. They give you pretty big portion sizes.
Tale of two Tuk Tuks - if grandma is cooking, your food will be good. If the dude is cooking, it will be less so. I only do curries here as the dude once put way too much vinegar in a noodle dish. Grandma chef makes the Massaman and green curry just right.
