Houston’s first Italian Steakhouse, Bistecca, serves guests with a unique, skillfully prepared assortment of Italian-inspired dining options.

The contemporary steakhouse is the newest venture for Entrepreneur Abbas Hussein, owner of Sorrento Ristorante Italiano. Bistecca, which means steak in Italian, combines the expertise of Hussein, who has been in the fine-dining industry for approximately 40 years, with the culinary crafting of renowned Chef Alberto Baffoni. As the owner of the former Simposio Ristornate Italiano, Baffoni is a distinguished chef with a passion for integrating his Italian heritage into authentic and delightful cuisine.

Unlike Sorrento Ristorante, Bistecca will emphasize the flavors native to North-Central Italy and Baffoni, alike, who was born in Fano. Set among a modern yet refined ambiance, guests can expect an array of brilliantly crafted Italian cuisine, including risotto, pasta, seafood and steaks, such as the signature Bistecca Florentina, a fragrant, herb-marinated porterhouse fire-grilled with precision. A significant feature of the Bistecca Florentina is a strip sirloin paralleled by filet mignon opposite of the bone. All choices will be complimented by an expertly curated wine list and an exceptional dining experience unrivaled by any other in Houston.
