If it hadn’t been for the margaritas I would have given a better rating. We went because it had good reviews and it is a very cool place. You can tell it’s been there for a long time. It was New Years Eve, we got a table right away, staff were friendly, limited menu. We ordered the lasagna, it was good. Ordered margaritas that had a licorice taste to them, for us, they were disgusting. When we mentioned it to the staff member attending to us she called the manager who made a bit of a scene. I was embarrassed and ready to leave. Then the bartender came over and made a dramatic pick up of the margaritas only and made a snide comment. I would have considered going back but won’t now.
i would definitely come back! we stopped by from out of town, we were craving italian and i’m glad we picked this restaurant. the christmas decor is super cute and welcoming. definitely worth the value. i wasn’t expecting soup and salad. i ordered the chicken francisco with fettuccine as the side 10/10, pro tip: mix the fettuccine in with the chicken. service was fast. everything was yummy. Salomon, and the team was really friendly and fun.
Great place for brunch. Good music, not too crowded. Nice crew and clean place. Food and drinks were great too. Lasagna was special and bloody Mary too. They also celebrate events and very cool interior design. Recommended.
Great atmosphere, very romantic for a date. The food, is delicious with generous portions. I got the Chicken Funchezzi, very satisfying. The service is very quick and the server was very polite. Highly recommend if looking for authentic Italian food.
Used to love this place until today! BE WARNED: “NO KIDS UNDER 12! READ THE SIGN!” Is what we were so rudely told as with a door slam in our face. My family and I used to dine here, and my u husband and I loved their food until we were treated poorly today. We walked up to the fun Christmas inflatables and as we adoring them , we were looking to grab a patio table. There were not many people there so we thought it was a perfect time. As we wait at the door to be seated, a gentleman came out and abruptly tells us “no kids under 12 , read the sign! “ and returns back inside slamming the door on us. Wow. Mind, u we have my 8 year old with us who was saying or doing anything. I thought “wow, when did that change??” What ever the reason for not allowing kids in, I don’t really care, but you don’t have to be rude and slam the door in our face. We used to love this place but after today, wow, no thanks even if it’s just my husband and I, forget it. Teaching my daughter that it’s not okay to be treated this way was the bigger picture. However we did not let it affect our holiday joy and walked across the street to Nikos. As much as I liked their food, there’s no way I let someone talk to my family that way. Sad , becuase we always had wonderful service before.
This was my first time and I was blown away!!!! It's amazing!!! I highly recommend it. The ambiance was fabulous, staff beyond excellent, food out of this world!! Get there if you can! This is my leftovers
Love this place! Delicious Italian food, with a very homey, quirky feel! Diverse menu, with traditional favorites, but not too pricey. I had Veal Parmigiano with Fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious! Absolutely LOVED all the Halloween decorations! Great place to host a Halloween party! Great place for a date too!Food: 5/5
I didn't take any pictures of my food because it was too delicious to not eat right away. Such an amazing experience when you are greeted with, "Hello beautiful. You look amazing tonight!!!" Great food and great service!Food: 5/5
We came to dine here after a show with a 5 year old and 2 year old. Reviews online said family friendly. The entrance had tons of Halloween Inflatables, which I my kids loved, then we see a sign on the door that says no kids under 12. I am just so curious as to what is happening in this restaurant that children are not allowed on a Sunday afternoon- we got no explanation from the people at the hostess stand. Seems extreme to me. Maybe update your parameters on google and yelp, so other families do not run into the same issue.
Everything is amazing! You can't go wrong with anything you order from here! All entrees are served with homemade soup, salad and garlic bread. I love the crabcake and the Portobello mushroom appetizers! The staff is always warm and welcoming! My favorite Italian restaurant in Houston! Literally every dish I have tried I have loved!
