Very nice restaurant and bar in Salem. This location is uniquely theme with video games and 80s music. It is definitely a change from all the witch Craft tourist stuff. It is small so expect it to be packed during busy hours. They also do not have parking nor regular liquor, like Captain Morgan. This is a hipster place so come expecting a different experience.

Three of my friends and I were highly anticipating our trip to Bit Bar because of all the great reviews we read about this place. Man, were we so wrong! We enter the bar and it’s packed which is all cool and fine, to be expected, but we waited quite some time to be seated. The bar is small and poorly situated which made the seating worse. After waiting by the door/counter, the server arrives and seats us at this long table with other patrons. He tells us there are no other tables and then splits our party with two other groups, then tosses a stack of menus and silverware across the table. We’re ticked at this point, but we wait looking at the menu and talking over other guests. It’s at least 15 minutes without a server coming to take our drink or meal order so we get up to sit by the bar. The bartender says it’s okay to order drinks and wait for a table to clear, so we do. Drinks turn out to be over priced buckets of ice and watered down alcohol. When a section of table clears up we move only for the original server to tell us that the table is reserved. He then proceeds to clean the table, gently place silverware and menus, take their drink order, get their drinks and take their meal order. Experiencing this, we closed our tabs and left. Hands down, worst experience at a bar.

My son loves it for the games and they push a family friendly menu and atmosphere. However, we went at 4pm on a Sunday and a group of four very drunk people were hanging around loudly swearing like sailors and blocking access to many of the games even though they weren't playing... so be aware that you may need to make a hasty exit if you bring children.

Ever so slightly smaller than I expected, but it has a solid selection of arcade games, a good variety of beers (and even some interesting non-alcoholic options), and an interesting looking food menu, which I didn't partake in because I unfortunately ate right before I got there. The staff was also courteous and efficient.

Dinner and entertainment all in one place. The drink selection is always creative and yummy. The food is always good. And the games are as cheap as when we were kids. Love this place!
