Set my drill to this service center as requested by De Walt for the repair. The repair only required the replacement of the electric drill motor, but they ended up replacing the majority of parts to include a faulty chuck. Called and asked for my money back due to the faulty repair. Drill chuck was fine and did not require replacing, they said I would have to send the drill back in again to have it evaluated. This is unacceptable and I don’t have time to jump through time consuming hoops, this service center should’ve fixed the drill correctly the first time, money not well spent. You got my 90 bucks but never again. It’s like taking your car in to have the front brake job done and they do the rear as well when there was nothing wrong with the rear brakes in the first place, but they do them anyway without authorization using faulty parts, expecting you to come back and waste your time to have a situation remedied. Bad place bad customer service.
I have had exceptional service here several times for my Black & Decker lawnmowers, especially from Rebecca: no lecturing or hassling about service or return, just a fabulous resolution that was more than I expected. I can’t give enough praise about the staff members! Thank you!
Customer service was excellent,i had my dewalt impact go out as well as my hammer drill at separate times, they were both a few months out of the 1 year warranty and the young gent at the front his name was Jacob i belive, gave me a free courtesy warranty both times with no questions asked and no hassle, both times the turn around was about a week which is great and they even changed out the hard cases on the tools,so far both impact and hammer drill are back to pretty much brand new. Thanks you guys will continue doing business with dewalt they keep there customers a priority
I went on their website. They hate their customers and want them to never buy their product again. They were successful at least with me. Website is horrible no prices and if you actually need help be prepared to answer about 50 questions so they can sell your information. I want nothing to do with Dewalt anymore. Over 30 years.
Customer service is awful. 3 months to get a replacement of a $300 battery is just unacceptable. I purchased their most powerful FlexVolt 60V 12Ah battery, $269+tax and we used it three times, and it died...The customer services confirmed that my battery is covered with a warranty and will be replaced. However, they are unable to send me a new one immediately, I need to wait approximately 3 MONTHS to get a new one...I discussed with a supervisor who absolutely did not care about clients. I have around 15 tools from Dewalt but I cannot longer trust a company which consider clients as a money holder only. I will resell all these tools and I will switch to another brand. I definitely feel to have been ripped off...
Heads up. They don't close at 4:30pm. More like 4:20pm and then they'll argue with you at the door for 10 mins about why they are closed 10 minutes earlier than their listed time.
Manager there was terrible. Denied tool repair because it was "wear and tear". The motor blew on it the first time I had used it. When I brought this up, manager said that he would check out see if the motor was blown. Took over 3 weeks for him to give me a call back. Luckily the corporate help desk was able to help with the repair. For the record, the warranty does not define motors as a wear and tear item.
My pole saw was out of warranty, but received a free courtesy repair on a burnt out motor. Excellent customer service. Glad I chose Dewalt as my tool platform.
I went in today with a small issue with my chainsaw. The Latina women I spoke with was very helpful and I even was able to practice speaking Spanish with her. They solved my problem. This is one of the reasons I am moving to the Dewalt brand! Keep up the good work!
"I recently had to send my faulty DEWALT battery grass trimmer for service, and although the product was under warranty, I was told I had to pay $68 to fix it. When I asked why, the customer service representative kept me on hold for 10-15 minutes before returning and asking if I had been helped. She was extremely rude and unhelpful when I asked to speak to a manager, claiming they were not available and couldn't provide me with any information about when they would be. As a customer, I was disappointed with the lack of professionalism and care demonstrated by the customer service representative. It's unfortunate that DEWALT has so many negative reviews, and I'm disappointed to add another one to the list. To make matters worse, the representative hung up on me, leaving me feeling frustrated and disrespected." I hope management would see this bad reviews and would make a change..
