We came between lunch and dinner for the campfire dinner for 2 meant to be shared between 2 people. The brussel sprouts had excellent flavor and texture, better than the much more expensive versions we've had at premium steak houses like Mortens, but be sure to tell them to hold off on the bacon bits if you don't eat bacon. The sides were fresh and tasty. The salmon and filet mignon cooked perfectly. The service was ok, not great. We went during slow hours when they opened at 3pm, but still several tables were busy too. Overall, we felt very happy with the value and quality and will definitely return, perhaps at dinnertime when there is more ambiance. Wish there existed a way to tip the cooks separately from the server, since the meal was as perfect as could be expected and I would have tipped the cooks. Unfortunately in California and LA, the kitchen barely gets any of the tip as the tip generally goes entirely to the main server, less minimal voluntary tip outs. Groupon has a minor discount available. Note that they are closed for lunch and don't open till 3pm weekdays.
Sherri was an amazing server. The restaurant had 15 tables seated and 2 maybe 3 waitresses. I felt so bad for her. She was literally out of breath. The food was good except for the meat. Medium steak looked rare. I did not send it back because I did not want to make Sherri have to make another trip. She deserves a raise. Kid-friendliness: Everyone was friendly! My wife and I always enjoy the food and services there . We will come back soon.Food: 5/5
I was served a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp were small and not fresh. One shrimp I ate smelled bad and was mushy. Usually the shrimp cocktails are large and fresh. I spoke to the manager and he wanted me to speak to the chef. I know what I ate... it wasn't about taking the order off my receipt. I don't want to get sick nor eat slimy old shrimp. The manager had a bad attitude as if I was lying. I come from a family of cooks from both sides of the family. Especially my dad's side which make island food including alot of s hrimp. The waitress I'm the bar acted like she didn't know anything. She knows what she served. We had her serve us A few times... I was there last night during happy hour. I won't go back.
Hostess was friendly and sat us with only a 10 min wait. Server Raphael was friendly and attentive and took good care of us. The booths are comfortable we stayed longer and just relaxed after eating. We started with the potato skins and you could tell they are made fresh in house. Paired perfectly with some ranch and sour cream. I loved that they had space dust IPA on tap. Both of us had the prime rib. Definitely delicious, but I wish there would have been more seasoning on it or in the au jus. They advertise blackening seasoning on it but I couldn’t tell they used any. Ended up using A1 which I hate doing on good cuts of meat. It was cooked perfectly med rare and was tender and juicy. I had the potato soup which was fantastic and presented beautifully. My friend had the Mac and cheese and French fries. He said they were bustin’.
My first time eating Black Angus. And I'll definitely go back. Me and my Lady shared the Tomahawk Ribeye. Which came with soup and salad, appetizer, 4 sidekick options, and dessert. All for $120 and well worth it. My daughter had the twin lobster tails. Which she enjoyed.Food: 5/5
I went on fathers day, had the waiter Aldo, he was very kind and made my first experience enjoyable and pleasant. Drinks were great and food was yummy. Will definitely be returning again !
Stepping into Black Angus Steakhouse was a treat for the senses. The steak, cooked to perfection, showcased the expertise of the chefs. But what truly stole the spotlight were the two luscious lobster tails, a luxurious addition that elevated the dining experience to new heights. The sides of steamed broccoli were a refreshing complement, demonstrating the restaurant's commitment to quality in every aspect of the meal. Once again, Black Angus Steakhouse proved why it's a top contender in the world of fine dining.
My family and I went here recently for dinner and we were immediately very kindly greeted by our host Camila! She was sure to make conversation with us and keep us feeling welcome and comfortable while walking us to our table. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was just wonderful thank you Camila!Food: 5/5
Location ; Good, Service; Okay, Price for food received; a bit high, Overall I have been to this place in the past where they had a couples dinner at a decent price. The meal came with appetizer, main course and desert , we tried it again and yes the price was higher but the meal did not seem to have as much as the past. So it may be a while before I return.
