Visited 2 locations 125 st Harlem and the Brooklyn Location. Being it was Sunday it could have been closed. Called number but no answer. Door was lock. Left for Brooklyn location it was actually closing bit a couple ladies were still on site. Just wanted to purchase tee shirts but no go... Stop back by Harlem Location of Monday still a no go.... Got a chance to eat at Sylvia's Restaurant around the corner. Tried to find the 113 st location they speak about on the show but couldn't find a address online.... we actually drove to 113 st and Lenox/ Malcolm X Blvd. Still didn't find it...
Was getting a simple “13” on my wrist and he just started freestyling it w no stencil. Its flawless and while it was my most expensive AND my smallest tattoo I couldnt have asked for more
I walked right in and was immediately helped I did not have to wait I didn’t want anything except for my husband signature tattooed on my back the music was great it was today’s hip-hop. It was a little loud since it was 12 noon but maybe I’m too old for music that loud lol. My tattoo artist washed his hands in my view and then clean my back he let me check the position of the Tat before he begin to put permanent ink in.
Absolutely love this place vanityink is a dope artist and person she made the experience as smooth as possible and definitely worked with me. The only place I'll get inked from now on a cover up piece halfway through

I love the Black Ink sitcom. I went there just to see the place and take pictures. I don't have any tattoos. I do love the actors and their acting abilities
Patient with customers when it comes to piercings, I also remember going to them when they were in 125th before the game fame an still they remain humble! Gotta love it! Thought I should tos that out there
I must say I love and Von is awesome thanks black ink see u soon
I visited New York and called black ink to get a cover up as me being a tourist I called ahead of time and was told to send a pic of my tattoo that I wanted covered which is just a 5 letter name on my chest. I was told they accept walk ins so I even called before I came that day. When I got there the shop was empty the guy at the desk said he had to see if other artist was coming in and he called the lady in the pic which is the shop manger. He told me she would be there in a few mins so after waiting 1 hour I asked where she was and could he call her again he told me oh traffic is bad she will be here I waited 2 and a half hours for her to show up just to tell me I wouldn’t be getting a tattoo today she said she could probably do a cover up or flowers because it’s quick and easy…. I HATE FLOWERS I don’t have no tattoos of flowers. So I asked if they had any books I could look through to see if I could get some ideas she showed me her iPad with her sketches and the tattoo that I liked she quoted me $700 for the tattoo I was so mad that I had wasted my time coming here when I could have went somewhere else and got tatted my time was not valued at all!!!!
Had to come check it out, visiting from Texas so wanted to get a matching tattoo with my sis, glad we came, everyone was nice and professional and now we can say WE'VE BEEN TO BLACK INK!
