Recently visited Blackline tattooing with my fiance. Rico seemed put out that we were in his shop to talk about tattoos; he never seemed interested in us as people who wanted artwork, all he seemed interested in was getting money from us. We had to describe to him several times the basic ideas for our tattoos. It seemed through the whole visit that he was only half-listening to us. He gave us a ridiculously high estimate for his work - he includes empty space in the cost regardless of the fact that there is no ink going into the area, so six nickel sized circles in a line end up costing $180 because he charges you for the space BETWEEN the circles in addition to the actual art he's doing - and charged us $50 to draw up our ideas. When he got around to sending us the drawing a week after we went into his shop, one of the two pictures hardly resembled what we had discussed in person. It was messy, he had added things that were not in the original image and taken other things out. When we tried to talk to him about fixing the messed up image and/or scheduling an appointment for the other tattoo idea, he never responded to us. He never took us seriously, he charges exorbitant sums, and in our case HE STOLE $50 FROM US BY IGNORING US AFTER WE HAD PAID HIM TO DO DRAWINGS FOR US. I've seen great art by Rico, but his terrible customer relation skills (acting like we were an inconvenience to him, not listening to our ideas, charging us $50 and then messing up our drawings, then ignoring our request to fix them or to schedule an appointment to do the work on the one drawing that turned out well) have made us decide never to step foot in his shop again. We are both extremely disappointed in Rico after having had good tattooing experiences with him in the past. I can't guarantee that your experience will be this bad but I would not recommend Blackline Tattooing to anyone, ever.

Let's say I won't go back felt uncomfortable told my husband and said I should leave a review sorry but he's a good talker and he's decent artist but won't go near there again

my brother and his buddy both got tattoos from here and loved them absolutely amazing job bot have such amazing detail and both were very well priced i will be coming here in a month or so to get one of my own
