I usually dread going to the DMV, but this was my first time at the Columbia Heights locations. They were so friendly and helpful. I wish I would have caught the name of the older gentleman that helped me, he really knew his stuff and helped me with a complicated situation.
Friendly methodical staff. Use the rear parking lot. You must make an appointment. Visit the kiosk by the rear door. A staff member will look for your name on the schedule, and after confirmation will give you further instructions.

When I arrived they were having trouble with their systems but they were able to solve it. I had a short wait but I was able to renew my driver's license.
