Really cool hangout just outside Fenway Park. Great place to hang out before a game and the pizza is really good. There’s a street level and a basement level with an additional bar and bar games.
Awesome, Fenway Park setting. Service was great and outdoor seating was great for watching the fans pour in. Downstairs was cornhole and more with a second bar. Worth the stop if you're on your way to Fenway and the game.
Went here after a Red Sox game. Food was okay and the service was good, but they were playing music so loud we had to scream at the server to say our order. Felt like it wanted to be a club instead of any form of restaurant or bar.
Stopped here after the ball park tour and had great pizza, great service, and comfortable seats. Would happily recommend it on non-game days.
Staff super friendly and polite. Maximus was very friendly and helpful. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Food... surprisingly very good. I wasn't expecting a bar that has such a large drinking clientele and so large to have such good food. Wings were large, nachos with large pieces of tender chicken was Killa, pep pizza was good as was the burger. Will be back way more often with the family.
Game On claims they are a sports bar but an NFL game is being played upstairs, music blaring like it's "Dance Club Saturday night". Downstairs plenty of open tables and TVs showing game with audio but closed to a private party. Come on Game On do better. Signed disappointed sports fan. PS Food, service and wait staff was great!
We had a birthday we wanted to celebrate, so we made a reservation online. We received a confirmation the day of the party, but when we arrived, they told us there was a private event and we couldn't go in the game area. Even with all that, I wouldn't give a 1-star if the staff was kind or made even some kind of effort to make things right, but of course, that did not happen. The staff was rude and insisted we made a mistake despite us showing the reservation and confirmation, so our birthday party group had to wander around looking for somewhere else to celebrate. Needless to say, I don't plan on going back.
Stopped here for a bite before heading to a hockey game at “Frozen Fenway”. Awesome location right by the park! The food was good but nothing extraordinary, in my opinion. They also seemed to be a bit off their game the evening we were there…lots of tables not bussed, utensils/table settings missing, no condiments or napkins. My friends and I also started a tally where we kept track of how many times in a row the same song or two was played before it switched over. We listened to “My Own Worst Enemy” by Lit and “Good 4 U” by Olivia Rodrigo play one after the other four times in a row…followed by “Calm Down” by Rema and Selena Gomez which looped at least three times and was still playing when we were heading out the door. I was trying to figure out if it was some sort of drinking game we just hadn’t been informed about Needless to say, I will be avoiding those three songs for the next little bit because I had my fill
Game on is a fun place. You can go there to spend good time, have a drink with friends. Drink some draft beer or cocktails
Would rate 0 stars if I could. Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and two bartenders one guy with long hair and a female with a bun wouldn’t come serve us. The male continued to come down to the beer case but wouldn’t make eye contact with us. Extremely weird. Would not recommend. Whoever worked on 11/12 after 10 at the bar needs to be trained on hospitality. Went to another bar down the street and was served within 2 minutes.
