The chicken cesar wrap $13 was just what I needed as a quick meal before I head off to Logan Airport. It came out in about 2 minutes and the wrap was nice and warm. It was a good size with tons of lettuce in it and it wasn’t ruined with too much dressing. There wasn’t much chicken in it as expected, but the chicken was luckily not tough or chewy. My server was very nice. I’m giving them a 4 instead of a 5 because the taste was okay.
Great place to sit and grab something to eat and drink while you wait for your train!Food: 5/5
Pretty good food, nice service. The clam chowder could have been a bit hotter but maybe they rushed it for me because I told them I had a bus to catch. Good place to catch a bite before catching your bus. Good buffalo wings too.Food: 3/5
Great place to just sit and have a drink while waiting for your train. It tries to feel like a bar but there is no mistaking that you are in the middle of a train station, and there is even a track and schedule board hanging behind the bar. Overall I enjoyed myself and got to my train on time. I did not rate food because I just got a drink and my drink was good.
A great place to eat if waiting for your next train or want something quick before heading off to your hotel… And the prices are TRAVELER FRIENDLY!!! TSQ is not here to break your pockets like most transportation hub eateries… The portions could be a little bigger but to be honest the portions are enough if waiting for a train or bus that you don’t have to worry about a To Go box. They also had the BEST guacamole I have ever had in a long time for a small amount of money… I might have to grab and early train next time just for an excuse to eat there!
Good place for a quick drink and bite when waiting for the train. Pizza is a misnomer it's more like a flatbread. Buffalo wings were delicious.Food: 3/5
i commute to work everyday. And my middle stop is south station waiting for the next train. My favorite part of the day is stopping in the Tavern for a beer and the food. The newly added burger on the menu could be rated as gourmet. It’s a great burger and you can never go wrong with a great burger. The rest of the food is great. From the chicken Cesar salad, to the clam chowder, the pizza. They are simple delicacies that can boost your energy to finish your travels or be a highlight of your day. The staff is amazing, especially the manager Tim who takes pride in providing the best customer service to his greatest ability. The Tavern is a great pit stop to make your day if you was having a bad one. 10/10 recommend.
Can't really review the food. Never got waited on. Sat down wait a few minutes watched a woman coming after me approach a server and they were attentive to her. Watched another server looking at pictures. Asked a gentleman who appeared to be working there is anybody working here and he replied yes what do you need I don't know a better attitude a menu something. Ended up leaving
Great place. Good drinks, friendly staff and nice food.Food: 5/5
Went here for dinner and drinks with some friends and had a very disappointing experience. First, my friends and I order a mango tequila fishbowl to share among 3 people which should’ve cost $48. When the waiter brought the drink over he brought it in a tower, but it was still a mango tequila drink so we just thought they put it in a different container and drank it. When we got the bill, the waiter had charged us for a $75 margarita tower. I tried to explain nicely to the waiter that that was not what we had ordered and asked if he could change the bill to reflect that. The waiter admitted that it was his mistake and that we didn’t order the tower, but said since we had drank the tower we had to pay for it. I did not argue further since it was not worth causing an issue, however I am extremely disappointed and believe that we should not have had to pay $75 for something we didn’t ask for. This waiter was also very inattentive the whole night and we only saw him when we first put our orders in, and then not again until we got the bill. Furthermore, we also ordered nachos as an appetizer. The nachos however, were piled up vertically on a tiny plate making them very difficult to eat since the toppings kept spilling over the sides. All the chips on the bottom also did not have any toppings on them and we did not finish the plate since it was too messy to eat. Overall, the food and drinks were fine, however I will not be returning to this establishment based off this experience and would not recommend it to anyone else.
