Absolutely the best clam chowder in Boston! Great little “hole in the wall” bar. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were fantastic. It’s not very big, and it can be a little slow if they are busy, but definitely worth the wait! We were only in Boston a few short days, but we made time to go back before we headed home.

$1 oysters, slider Monday's, taco Tuesday's, and $.25 wing Wednesday's make this place a solid stop most of the week! Then you get to their beer selection. They always have local beer on tap, and a great diversity of bottles and cans.

Came here for taco Tuesday! It's $2 a taco but you have to spend $10 on regular priced food per person first. Got the clam chowder, cajun fries, and 2 fish tacos. The two sides were very tasty but the fish in the fish taco was the smallest piece of fish and was mostly breading. Probably wouldn't come here again if not for the specials or beers.

Awesome little bar. Great food especially with any thing seafood related. The beer selection is one of the if not the best beer selection downtown.

I just happened upon this place while just meandering the streets and looking for a place to eat. Seating is VERY LIMITED, but I was able to find a seat at the bar. I ordered a burger, and it was cooked perfectly ! The beer selection was top-notch, the food selection is limited, but a perfect variety. It's definitely a place to just grab a quick bite with friends, catch up after work or shopping or , like me, enjoy people watching !! The restaurant is child-friendly, however, this place is, as I said before,very very small and I would not suggest bringing young children if they are not capable of remaining in their seats or are overly rambunctious wonderful kids that love to explore. This is not to say the tavern doesn't allow children, but the space is very very limited and and probably not an ideal choice for families or large parties !!

Friendly staff Tom was on that night and great beer selection. Food was decent as well. Great little bar that was open when everything else seemed closed!

The place was nice and calm. The food was delicious with a good variety of options. The music and ambiance were nice. The service was very good. I liked the place.

Amazing food on Taco Tuesday! Only $2 each and all delectable. The service was a bit below par, however, and had a bad encounter with a hostess. But that did not ruin the perfect night full of delicious bites. A bit steep in price for all other menu items. Definitely worth visiting!

Walked in and was greeted with a smile. Service was great and the food was excellent. Great beer selection including local crafts. Cozy environment and nice atmosphere. Came here with family for Easter dinner and was not disappointed. Doesn't hurt that the waitress was cute although I didn't get her name.
