Wonderful location and a fascinating history. Distinguished membership and friendly, accommodating staff. Has a quaint veneer of tradition but badly in need of a major update to be on the level of first tier clubs.
This is an old fashioned private club that is geared towards families living close to Boston. It is elegant and formal but with limited amenities.
Unbelievable venue for a private party. This 200+ year old building is so beautiful. I only wish I lived in Boston and could become a member to enjoy on a regular basis. The Union Club was founded in 1863 by officers of the Union Army during the Civil War.
I spent a few nights here through a reciprocal membership. The history of the club is very nice and the rooms were adequate; however they do not appear to update the place as much as other clubs I have stayed in.
An incredible piece of history that is great now as it was then. Many organizations are using it for lectures followed by lunch. Great food with magnificent sites of the city.
I have been a member for over 20. Wonderful place, good food, splendid drink and marvelous company. It is great club by any definition.
Good if you want to use a downtown one-time men's club as an event venue. Everyone makes an effort to please.
Great location, with comfortable rooms and nice amenities. Our room overlooked the historic Granary Cemetery.
An exceptional club in downtown Boston.
I am a member for 19 years I love this place. Good food, drinks, friends, venue and service.
