there is absolutely no communication from management. there is currently roof maintenance being done, seemingly to my whole building, but we never received any sort of communication on the matter. i’ve had people hammering into my roof since 9am this morning, and there are nails and pieces of roofing material covering my patio and the front of my door. it isn’t safe for my dog to walk outside of my apartment because of all of the debris. the leasing office has no problem with communication when they are sending lease warnings but they don’t talk to their residents otherwise. UPDATE: woke up this morning to hammering on the roof at 7am. there are still nails everywhere, and i had to carry my dog across the street so that she didn’t step on anything. i called during business hours yesterday and no answer. i left a voicemail, and told the leasing office to please call me back to discuss. no response. i did, however, receive an email from the leasing office in regards to other residents “vandalizing the property.” the communication is there when criticism is being given to residents, but there is zero communication when the management is at fault. extremely unprofessional; i could do a better job if i ran the place myself. UPDATE 2: went to the leasing office today, the manager is on vacation. the assistant told me that it is not required to give notice because it is maintenance being done on the external part of the building. at this point, the roofing contractors have broken my patio furniture, left my fenced patio unlocked, and have left trash and debris on the property overnight. just because it isn’t law to give notice, does not mean that you shouldn’t give notice. i explained that i work from home and need to make arrangements ahead of time. lazy management, no communication. it would have taken 10 minutes to send an email regarding the situation. disappointing to say the least, but you get what you pay for i guess. i would like to note that i understand roofing is a long and messy process! but these things need to be scheduled far in advance. there was plenty of time to give notice on this. when it directly affects your tenants daily activities, you should send a notice. if i would have received notice, i would have moved my patio furniture on my own, and it would not have been broken. if i would have had notice, i would have commuted to the office for my job instead of staying home where people were hammering right outside of the building.
If there was a way to give 0 stars I would. We've been living here for about 4 years and received grief about maintenance before with the previous company that managed the complex. However, now since the management has changed communication with the office and maintenance is TERRIBLE! We've been waiting on things to be fixed for months. They cut a hole in our kitchen wall due to a leak from our restroom that has not be treated or fixed in months. Cabinet doors in the kitchen are hanging from the wood Electrical issues with our switches for our light and ceiling fans in all of the rooms Leaks in the basement Leaks in our rooms and the kitchen THE LIST GOES ON! They took away most amenities when the management changed but charged more money for the rent. The staff is nonresponsive and very unhelpful. If you want to be comfortable in your home, DO NOT MOVE HERE!
Two stars are for the physical location and the fact that I liked my neighbors and felt very safe where I lived. Everything is downhill from there and when I was leaving, they were raising the prices while actively taking *away* from the community ripping out all the landscaping, removing the fitness center for a pass to a gym not close in proximity, firing groundskeeping staff, downgrading maintenance services. I had black mold growing in my basement for 8+ months and my multiple complaints to maintenance were ignored or I was just ghosted after being told specific dates and times of service time I took off work for. My gutters were stuffed when I moved in and never addressed for cleaning, even after I was assured it would be, causing moisture to leak into my basement. My basement flooded with gray water as all the systems are connected in the building — nothing was ever done for prevention, we just had to wait for our things to be ruined. The wonderful + kind groundskeeper was fired until multiple residents and other staff complained since trash and animal feces started to litter the complex. The trash situation is *out of control* and the new owner’s response was to put ineffective ugly dumpsters in all over the place that are not serviced often enough nor looked after. All in all, this place is not worth it for the price. I just can’t forgive a careless owner who clearly doesn’t appreciate the staff they hold on to and doesn’t care whether that staff is able to perform their essential job functions.
I haven’t lived here in years. I started getting emails randomly again from them with no way to reply to them. I left this place for a reason, it sucked. Take me off your mailing list, Blendon. Addendum: You have my name. I shouldn’t have to take time out of my busy schedule to call you.
Been here officially a year and I love it. The floor plans, the neighborhood, the outside updates. We are in a renovated unit and it turned out so good.
I did visit the leasing office Sunday at 2PM on 4/23/2023. the leasing office receptionist was so rude and racist. She did not give me any time, even though, I had an appointment that day. At last, she said you can go and find everything online. I wouldn't recommend this renting complex townhomes to anyone. I am so upset about the discipline and discrimination.
Overpriced old townhomes with flooding issues. Horrible management and leasing office team. Lack of concern and dismissive attitude about our living conditions. False information about corporate office on their website so no way to get resolutions to maintenence issues when office team fails to assist with requests. Matt allows the Assistant Manager female to behave in a very rude and unprofessional manner while he does nothing and offers no resolution. No accountability here. Pay too much for this. Rent at your own risk..it's a reason they have the 2.9 rating score they do.
I have a lot of complaints about this place but it would take too long to write them all. All you need to know is it’s not all sunshine and rainbows despite what they chalk themselves up to be. Don’t move here.
Office staffs okay, if you like buildings that get up to 85 degrees this is the place for you. If you need emergency maintenance forget it, fix it yourself. If you love annoying neighbors who slam on everything throughout the evening definitely the place for you. Not worth the monthly rent when the upstairs of the buildings are unliveable.
Great New Management! We've been here a couple of years, and were so excited with the new team! The Office is very helpful through this transition, and the fully staffed Maintenance Team is super responsive, timely and professional. Spoke to the managers and were looking forward to getting new landscaping and amenities in the near future! Keep up the great work!
