Blendz Salon

I went to Blendz Salon yesterday and I am continually amazed at the talent of these hairstylists! I went to Lexi yesterday and she is truly gifted! I LOVED MY HAIR and it was pure art what she did. Not only did she give me a very stylish cut so if I wanted to walk out the house without curling, but she was so thorough in her technique, in applying the relaxer and curled every part of my hair even the short parts to give my hair a beautiful, stylish, finished look. I love Blendz! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming as it is professional. You can tell everyone on staff loves what they do, and that they genuinely value their clients. Most of all, I am glad to have found a stylist that in addition to my super chic cut which Paula, my stylist nails every-time : , she TRULY cares about the HEALTH of my hair. Paula Britt is my hairstylist and she has given me a new found confidence! This place is amazing and all of the stylists are great!

Paula Britt and Blendz Salon are amazing! I went to Blendz to get my hair done by a stylist, who although was very sweet, was not as knowledgeable with my hair type as he could have been. Paula Britt was there to assist the stylist with my hair and offer suggestions. Paula was still unhappy with the result of my hair and asked me to come back so that she could correct some things. I thought highly of her for this because she could have just felt since the services were already paid for, she did not have to do anything further. This made me feel that Paula Britt is not only a genuine person who cares not only about your hair, but also understands the definition of real customer service. I went back and she corrected my hair, as promised. I so appreciate the customer service at Blendz. That experience has definitely made me a repeat customer.

I felt compelled to write a review because my experience was nothing like some of these reviews. My experience was at the Roswell location. First, everyone was so professional and kind from my initial call on the phone to when I walked into the clean salon. They answered my questions throughly and when they did not know the answer I received a call back with clarification. I did have a slight issue with my first color application; however Paula was attentive and was able to "fix" the issues. Note Paula did not do my original highlight and the lady who did it when I called a week after was no longer working at the salon. People need to be more explicit in what they want and stop hopping from hair dresser to hair dresser. People also need to realize just because something looks good on a person does not mean it will look good on you. For my color, I wore a wig for about a month with the color I liked. I brought the wig into the salon and wore it so that Paula could see what I actually wanted and because I wore it for so long I knew I would be happy with the color. She perfectly match my color to the wig and I was beyond satisfied with her technique. Also, I am natural and I am very forthright in the fact that please do not use a lot of heat on my hair. The thing about natural hair is it will revert quickly. I have straightened my hair and by the next day I look like a poodle but that's the price you pay to maintain your curls. Ladies want miracles that can and will only be achieved with a weave so if you want healthy, beautiful bouncy natural hair I recommend this place 100%.

Overall the experience here was good. The owner was kind, the stylist I had was genuinely a sweet woman. The problem I had, and why I gave a 3 star is, that I paid $75 for my hair to be washed & styled... the stylist clipped random strands of hair, not even enough to see on the floor, called it a trim. I was disappointed in the cost, but definitely enjoyed the stylist.

I had a terrible experience here. Everyone knows Paula is not a good stylist, she can color and that's about it. She charged me for services she didn't do and when I complained about my terrible cut - her quick reply was "what did you expect?" I expected you to know basic styling is what I expected!! I got the distinct impression she is VERY use to unhappy people leaving her chair. I went home and fixed it myself. DO NOT USE HER!!!

I wanted to try something other than great clips or super cuts so I thought I check out blendz. Bad decision. The person the gave me was not used to using clippers so I was a little skeptical but I've had haircuts with full scissors before in India so didn't think of it too much. For some reason despite her lack of experience using clippers she used clippers and honestly it didn't turnout good I felt if bangs were shorter it may help but didn't. That's all fine not all haircuts are perfect but what pissed me off was at the end when I was charged $30. I've had better haircuts for far less I may just go back great clips. All I have to say is if you prefer scissors stick with that. Some of my favorite haircuts were all scissors. Don't use something you are not comfortable with a live client. Practice and hone that weakness on fake hair.
