I received a beautiful bouquet of lilies from a friend for my birthday from Bloom That. The made the room smell amazing, by far the best flowers I have received through a delivery service. I loved the product so much that I sent flowers to another friend using the discount code in my shipment. I had a small issues with the delivery by fault of FedEx not BloomThat and their customer service team was incredibly responsive regarding the issue. Their response seemed personal and very different from the canned "we are sorry for your troubles insert bad excuse here" response that many companies send off. Usually the most frustrating thing about sending flowers is finding out they look nothing like how they are shown on the website. That is not the case with Bloom That. They will be my go to company for sending arrangements!
Update: Bloom that totally redeemed themselves. They re-sent a fresh awesome bouquet of flowers. It is nice to know they have such great customer service and care about quality. Old review: I feel like BloomThat has gone downhill in quality. When they first launched, the prices were awesome and the blooms were small but great quality. I think BloomThat only works in San Francisco - I just got flowers in the last few months to the south bay and they were definitely wilted when I opened the box.
I wanted to order some flowers for my Anniversary and I had not yet tried BloomThat. So i took a look and they had a beautiful assortment of Tulips available. I snatched that up, and got some caramels to go with it. The Website was well done, and easy to navigate. The price seemed fair enough, pretty flowers aren't cheap : They were delivered on time though late in the day, but that's not really their fault. And most importantly, the wife seemed to really like them. And they looked just like the picture, which is good news.
At first and for quiet sometime I had rated this company with one start because my order was over $100 for only one set and the flowers arrived BUT most of the flowers were dying and damage. This affected the looks on the flowers and didn't seem to be worth the money. NOW, I changed it to a 5 start rating. My perspective has changed due to the actions taken from Bloom that after the previous unsatisfactory delivery. This company cares for your items with the clear goals of proving a great service.
Ordered flowers for my sister's birthday this past Sunday; She called to tell me that the courier had asked to be buzzed up--a few minutes go by, and still no knock on the door. So she goes down the hall, then downstairs, to see where he could have possibly gone. She then called me and asked that I call customer service to see what was going on. The woman I spoke to from CS was very helpful, and told me that she would text me once she got word back from the courier that the flowers had been delivered. With complete confidence that it would get resolved, I said, "Excellent thank you!" Two minutes later, I receive a text saying the flowers were signed for hallelujah! I was away from my phone for a few hours, and when I went back to check it, I see a text from my sister saying, "flowers were never delivered." Confused, I then call CS again, and ask what happened. Long story short, she told me she had no idea, and new, upgraded flowers would be delivered the next day. While I am a firm believer in, "S*** happens," I am upset for a few different reasons: The courier never confirmed the name on the order, I never received an explanation, the flowers delivered the following day had a blank card attached, and no flower food. I felt like they tried to stick a quick bandaid on the whole thing. Anyways, I do feel 3 stars is warranted because they were very pretty, and the CS dept. was helpful and polite. A little more attention to detail, may have just earned them another star.
Great concept. Incredible promise. Incredibly unreliable. When you pick a day for flower delivery, anticipate they’ll arrive the following day. Or maybe the day after that. Plan ahead, or better yet don’t go in with the expectation that they’ll deliver on time. Just be happy that they’ll get there eventually. What’s the difference between arriving on an actual birthday or anniversary, or a few days later? This had happened 3 times for me with this service.
I use BloomThat for all my flower needs i.e., birthdays, thanking my team for all their hard work, and just because a friend had a bad night at work, etc. and have been selling them to my friends and neighbors, who all love them. The ordering process is easy and no matter which bouquet you choose, they are all on-trend/modern and beautiful, and at very reasonable prices. In addition, they give you text updates, so you don't have to wonder if and when the flowers got there I hate "casually" asking a friend how she is doing to see if they mention they got the flowers or not, especially when it's a surprise. I have never had an issue with them being on-time and to be honest, the quality of the arrangements, ease of ordering, and quick turnaround surpasses any other flower delivery service out there. Oh! And now they offer other gifts other than flowers!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!
Received a beautiful tulip delivery yesterday from a dear friend. Love it! Packaged so lovely, the flowers are perfect, looks like they were just picked - made my day! The box made me laugh, "get me outta here!" Thank you, Bloom That!! I love your product!!
The level of service was fantastic. I wrote to them with my concern when my mother in law got her bouquet with a few damaged stems. Bloomthat was quick to respond and made every effort to correct the issue. I've used proflower and fda in the past but was extremely disappointed. They falsely advertise the size of their bouquet. What you see on their site is no where close to what you get and customer service is lacking. I'm glad I found a new florist site that has an easy to navigate website and simple selection to choose from but beautifully arranged. So what I choose is exactly what they promise.
The flowers were beautiful, modern and lasted a long time, but came in a box even with a vase add on. This may be great for shipping long distances, but doesn't have the same personal touch. Additionally, the card was computer generated.
