Visited a friend. This place stinks! Literally and figuratively! The amount of trash that was being collected like an art wall was unbelievable. There was pizza boxes, broken TV stands, car seats, dog boxes and trash galore. How people pay to live in such filth is beyond me! Not to mention I was told rates are going up and amenities ate prohibited from use outside of the average persons working hours. Do better!!!! Update: The trash... see for yourself below. It's growing
Would strongly advise not to choose to rent here. The only reason it is one star and not zero is because of the apartment units themselves and the maintenance staff. The units themselves are nice and have not had any issues besides what I would consider “typical” like light bulb replacements. However, the office staff and other residents are the biggest down fall. The office staff is unresponsive to almost every email or phone call and in person you almost feel invisible. Packages get stolen, trash is left out all over the buildings, and pets use the elevators as bathrooms. The actual complex property itself is continuously being damaged with most recently being someone drove into one of the gates leaving it almost unusable unless someone physically opens it for people to use. To top it off, with the cold weather there is an uptick in homeless people crashing in the buildings next to the elevators and in the staircases asking for money and other things, and of course, no response from the office on this either. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.
For you people posting these negative reviews you don't live her to know. This place is much better since Mission Rock took over a year ago. They are improving the area and this is a nice place to live. Yes, there are always people who don't want to follow the rules so they post untrue negative information. Don't always believe what other people say come see for yourself. I've been here through three owners and I can say this owner is doing a great job. The office staff is very nice and the manager are involved. You can not expect to get great service when you are a horrible customer. I have seen the most with you visitors so if you are not coming to live her to follow the rules don't come. I love where I live and I'm all for them putting the ones out that don't follow the rules. I said my peace.
The management just care about money. They are getting paid and that's what they care. I made a maintenance request 4 weeks back and hasn't been resolved yet. They said there is a fire inspection going on and the guys are busy. I went today to check on and the maintenance guys were relaxing on the office chair. So my question is, what work were they doing exactly. I researched about this new management company and l found the previous owner sold the property and new owner came in. I feel pity for the new owner. He made a loss putting the rude management. The reviews after the August are all 1's. DON'T MOVE IN HERE. Charlotte is developing city and you would find much better houses with proper service unless you are ready to take up the pain.
For many reviews in here who have expressed the same concerns. I just want to take the time to say that the women working at this complex were not welcoming. They were all rude and acted like they were superior, one of the residents walked in and was talked down.My boyfriend and I felt awful for the resident. My boyfriend and I loved the complex but just talking to the staff made us turn around really quick. We wanted to view one of the homes but they told us we couldn’t because it was gated as if it is not their job to show us the apartment complex that was available we wanted to move into right away. This was by far the worst level of management within an apartment complex I have ever experienced. I recommend a supervisor or the actual company to invest time into choosing who is representing the company because the women in the front were not qualified. Lacked basic communication, interpersonal, and compassion skills. It was not welcoming. The two stars is for the apartments itself, like I’ve mentioned they were beautiful but a beautiful place with an ugly soul is not welcoming
Move in Process was very easy and quick. Literally got approved in 24 hours, Ms.Annie was very helpful throughout the process; she responded in a timely manner and kept me constantly informed of my application status. When I moved into my apartment was very clean and nice. I had like a couple questions to ask and community manager Ms. Kisha was very attentive and helpful. Any apartment complex will be perfect, I don’t see any issues with my apartment and I have lived in luxury high rises before paying way more. Always remember you are getting what you paid for. Greetings, Lester David Amador P.
The experience I've had with the associates here has been terrible. I submitted an application over 2 weeks ago and I haven't been contacted once with any update on it, despite calling multiple times a day and even coming up to the office. No one answers the phone and Ms.Johnson is rarely available. The apartments and amenities look amazing but simply because of Staffing and the lack of professionalism I believe I'm going with a different apartment.
The property is absolutely amazing. The amount of luxuries included for the price is unbelievable. The kind assistant, Lakeyla has the most bubbly personality. Definitely get her to show you around if you intend to tour the complex.
Me and my roommate had issues with communication from people in the office and the third party processor was a gigantic pain. A phone number is listed for the property, but they don’t answer the phone. My roommate had called 12 times and they never picked up; so I had to drive an hour to talk to them in person to get anything done. HOWEVER, Keyla one of the ladies in the main office was wonderful to work with and helped us greatly! She was on top of everything and kept us up to date with how our application was going, made sure everything was ready for us, and helped relive our stress through the process. 10/10 help from Keyla
$1500 off move in special was the first red flag lol! Good luck trying to get someone on the phone it’s ridiculous having to call over and over again to get someone to answer the phone! That’s another red flag. It’s sad this complex has potential to be great but needs better management. Clearly nothing has changed because the reviews say pretty much the same things. Complex has a lot of loitering, broken gates, and gunshots are heard frequently in this area coming from either this complex or the one located behind it. Take your money elsewhere.
