Blue Chip Moving Company

My experience with Blue Chip Moving, an agent for Allied Van Lines was superb! From the initial estimate process conducted by Brad to the delivery of my items by the trucker Horacio, the experience made my cross country move a breeze. Brad was able to go through my items for a very precise estimate of cost which beat the competition! Blue Chip even connected me with a good broker to ship my car which went smooth as silk. The communication from the moving coordinator Debbie was great, and I never had a worry. Both my car and items were delivered in an extremely timely fashion and in their original condition. They were hired by the Navy to do our final pack and load and when I say scraping the bottom of the barrel, I am not kidding. Half the boxes are ripped and damaged, items that weren’t boxed were bent and broken, and nothing seems to have been handled with care.

From the moment I met Brad to do my inventory, I knew I had selected best moving service for my needs. He showed me the right way to secure my boxes and the best way to pack and get ready for the move. Juan and his team took great care to make sure everything was secured and loaded and was very informative on the transit to my new home. I felt like I was treated with courtesy and the delivery team got everything in place on the receiving end. My coordinator, Deb, was very helpful in keeping me up to date on every stage. Allied moving company connected me to blue chip for a move from Cali to the east coast. Don Walta gave me a binding estimate and when it came to sign he changed it three times. Every time I caught him playing a numbers game trying to charge me more. He tried to take advantage of a young female thinking I was nieve. He never matched his quote and I ended up moving onto a different company. I wasted a week and half with this guy. Only to provide false quote.I do not recommend this company at all.

Ppl inside and workers are pleasant however as a trucker being unloaded, they left a massive amount of trash in my trailer. I knew something was up when they finished the guy asked me for my lock to lock an empty trailer, stupid dummy told on himself so I went to inspect my trailer for damages instead I see nothing but trash they decided to leave so I politely grab all the trash and dropped it in front of there loading door sad part is there was a trash can not to far away. Guess they were to consurned with getting High smoking weed in their so called brake room. I wouldn't store my stuff here if you paid me!

Fernando Gutierrez moved our belongings to Greer,Sc. Very tough access to our place. He made it here with no complaints. Very friendly. Great service. I put together a toddler bed incorrectly and he fixed it for me when he was done and ready to go. A steep downhill driveway. He got everything in no problem!

Debbie and Dennis were fantastic to work with on my move from Austin to NYC. The care and quality of the movers, driver and inventory specialist was impressive. I have such a peace of mind knowing my goods are in good hands. The pricing was very fair too.

This company helped me move from California to rural Wyoming. They made this very easy, considering it was a long trip with very few providers. The process was pretty seamless and the movers they used took extremely good care of my belongings. Communication could have been better regarding actual pick up dates to allow for planning. I had to keep checking in to make sure the move was actually going to happen, but otherwise highly recommend.

Just had the worst experience. This was a military move. Every one of these items was boxed and/or wrapped by the moving company in New York. Our understanding was that all items would be put away in CA in the same manner that they were picked up from in NY. All of our folded clothing was unpacked from boxes and thrown onto our bed along with our perfume and colognes. 3 trays of my make up were unpacked from boxes and thrown onto the bed. My bare wax candles were unpacked from boxes and thrown onto our bed. 2 glasses of marbles used to hold make up brushes were unpacked, unwrapped and thrown onto our bed - loose marbles just thrown onto a bed. The bare wax candles bled all over our comforter and expensive restoration hardware bedding. These items are now stained. We would have rather have left all items boxed that were already neatly folded as opposed to these items being thrown onto our bed. We now have to refold everything making double triple work for us. Seems extremely odd to me to just spitefully launch people’s clothing, perfumes these things are glass with fluid in them, makeup and bare scented wax candles all over a bed. Everything is balled up. Totally confused at this point.

Completely unprofessional. Never got advanced notice the crew was showing up, crew fought amongst itself and complained through the whole unpacking.
