My spouse went out of the way to come here, since another shop was completely booked, and was disappointed. Despite having a photo for reference, it did not look like it was supposed to and was just a bad cut as a whole. The fade looks awful - very choppy and uneven, and a great portion of hair was left untouched. It was a waste of $33, especially since now either I have to attempt to fix it or we have to pay to have it done elsewhere.
Get an appointment with Javier, he is a kind, friendly, and caring barber who goes above and beyond to get you a haircut you can be proud of. He is hilarious and really makes the whole process of getting a haircut much more enjoyable, I look forward to getting my haircut because it’s an opportunity to get some quality laughs from Javier. You will not be disappointed with Javier’s skills!
I'm pretty particular about my hair and went in when my main barber wasn't available. I was not disappointed at all! Heather was friggin' awesome and did an amazing job while making me feel like an old regular there. The folks that rang me up were vibing also. I'm happy that I gave Blue Star a shot today. Thank you for the great service.
I always come here and get a phenomenal haircut and great experience, and I always get Zach. He does a great job and if management reads this, please give high praise. However, due to scheduling constraints on my end I had to book with BRY S. Let's just say I did NOT receive what I asked for. I asked for a “cleanup,” and elaborated that I only wanted a little off the top and a 3-2-1 fade. Instead what I got was my entire head shaved right off. No fade at all. It looks absolutely abysmal. She even shaved my eyebrows unprompted and without asking. Extremely frustrated and angry. Stylist: BRY S

Best haircut I’ve had and scheduling an appointment makes it easy. Alex really spent time making sure everything looked good and was blended correctly. Hot towel and neck shave brings the whole experience together.

i have been to this location a few times and found a barber who does an amazing job. jackson is great and most of the other staff are very sweet and welcoming. i unfortunately couldn't book with jackson due to my work schedule so i scheduled with caleb. i booked a 30 minute appointment, showed up 5 minutes early to accommodate any appointments that may be running a little later as that is completely understandable. caleb calls my name and before i can stand up and introduce myself, he calls my name again acting like i'm holding up his time when i simply didn't hear him immediately as its a busy, loud shop which is fine! just don't be rude!. i sit down and he asks what are we doing today. i explain ive been dyeing my hair for a while and wanted to take a chunk off. he just kind of looks at me and says "and what are we doing on the sides?" i state a 2 is usually what we do and he starts cutting my hair. no questions as to length on top, no questions as to my usual styling after, just a clipper to my head before i'm even sure if he understands. he proceeds to pull my hair out with the trimmers because he was either having a bad day/in a rush which is fine but as an adult you should be able to control your emotions at your job, crazy idea and didn't even remotely brush my hair/clean his tools or try to not rip my head off. i let it go because i'm not going to have the man with scissors to my head even MORE angry than he obviously already was. i let him continue with no ideas as to how it will look when he's done because there was little to no consultation. he shows me the cut and all of my hair is gone except about an inch on top of my head which i 100% didn't and never ask for. usually a barber will speak with you first and say "how about an inch/half inch off etc." with a visual to ensure they and the client are on the same page but caleb had no time for all that. he then put a towel on my head for 10 seconds, shows me my hair which im shocked and nervous to say anything because his negativity is oozing off him. i PAID for a 30 minute haircut, this was fully 10 minutes start to finish. i go to pay and even tip because i've been a server and know how hard relying on those tips is. i was ready to forget about it and just go somewhere else next time but i hop in the car and i look closer in my mirror. there are random patches of hair around my ears longer than others, my sideburns are completely uneven, and my hair is extremely short. i call once i'm gone in hopes of maybe relaying to someone "hey, i understand things happen and i don't want a refund but i think something should be said to this barber as they are not properly consulting and i don't want other people to feel this way." Caleb picks up the phone which I recognize his voice but he doesn't identify himself. I ask to speak with a manager and i get back "i am the manager." i ask who im speaking with and he states "Caleb" so i say thanks bye and call to speak with a girl at one of the other BlueStar locations who was shocked and took all my info and said she will be escalating it as that is not the kind of thing they want happening in their shop. i have never even written a google review but felt i wanted to say something about this experience because they have good barbers. again, JACKSON is amazing and will take great care of you. CALEB on the other hand obviously needs therapy and a refresher class on how to properly do a consultation for a haircut. rushing me, huffing and puffing around like he's sooo bothered that he would have to do the haircut im paying for and scheduled days ahead of time, asks 2 details about my hair, and rushing me out of the seat when my hair is not even done. i was absolutely lost for words. hopefully something is said to Caleb because I work a job that I can't bully and rush around my clients just because I'm in a mood. it's unacceptable and has absolutely ruined my chances of ever giving them business again even though there are plenty of employees there who would never act that way. AVOID CALEB LIKE THE PLAGUE.
