Great cafe, but selection of books isn't very large and seems to be skewed towards women and children. Which is definitely not a bad thing, just the reality of the selection. It has a number of popular newer books though. If you're looking for something new or popular, chances are you'll be able to find it here. If you're looking for a large book store with a huge selection, look elsewhere.

The people here were quite helpful in special ordering a few books that are not quite standard! Very friendly local bookshop! The atmosphere is quaint and welcoming!

Great selection of books and gifts for all ages. They do have a Kansas themed section of books about our state and by Kansas authors. Also a large selection of literary themed gifts, blank books and a few art supplies and adult coloring books. The children's section is also well arranged with space for little ones to view and choose their favorites. Additionally they carry reading glasses and have a fantastic coffee shop as well that makes a wide selection of espresso drinks and smoothies. This store is a must-visit for me every time I'm in Hutchinson!
