Eighth Day Books

Great local book shop that I will support when I can. They have turned an old two story house into a really cool book shop. They have a ton of books and can order any book they don't have in stock. They have all category of books, but I noticed they have a very large religion section and a rather small fiction section.

Friendly staff. Don't let location fool you. This bookstore, tucked into every nook and cranny of an old house, has character. Has something for everyone. Extremely strong on Christian history and theology. I was astounded at the Patristics section. Separate division for Eastern Orthodox works. The church history takes up a room of its own. History is smaller in general but quality of works more than compensates for that. Poetry and literature sections are expansive too. I wish I'd known about this store sooner. Definitely a hidden gem.

One of my favorite bookstores in Wichita! Very cozy environment with a homey feel, great selection of new and other books, and excellent service as needed from very friendly and helpful people.

Huge selection of Books! Very relaxing place to visit and enjoy a book, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable! You Must check them out!

Lovely bookstore! We could have so.e t all day there. Lots of books and crannies to sit in the sunshine and have a good read. It is an old house with 2 stories and an eclectic mix of mostly religious books. They have a men's and women's reading group that they host weekly.
