Do not go here! It's a sad shell of a famous Baltimore crab house. The restaurant is closed and the Tiki bar is still open. Service wasn't pleasant at all. They add an automatic 20% tip to all bills. The biggest problem was the smell. Their garbage was overflowing and we were told that "it's always this way on weekends because trash pickup is Monday." Finally we had $200 in gift cards which are randomly no longer valid because they have changed POS systems. Drink quality: 3 Ambiance: 1 overwhelming horrible smell Service: 1.5 frowning, annoyed and complaining. They clearly do not even want to be working there. Value: 1 complete rip-off This is a sad excuse for a bar. Stay away. The smell, service attitude and vibe were so horrible we paid for our one drink and left.
Events Beware! All you can eat is not all you can eat. It's all Bo Brooks says you can eat. My non- profit Alumni Association 12 noon August 20, 2022 group booked and paid for a minimum of 40 people all you can eat crab feast. . We actually only registered 33 which attended. Should be plenty of Crab right? . Still well before cutoff Bo Brooks said they were out of crabs for our event and stopped serving them. They had more crabs in the house but only allocated a set amount for our all- you -can -eat Crab Feast. Waiter favored tables that ordered alcoholic drinks at extra cost. So some tables got more crabs than others. Burgers on buffet were dry. The also only validated parking for 2 hours despite event booked for 3 hours. The 20 year old waiter seemed to be running the event. Avoid booking your event here unless the above is ok with you.
Sat at the tiki bar for lunch on Memorial Day. The weather was absolutely amazing! Kwame I hope I spelled that correctly was our bartender and he made the experience even better. He is an Eagles fan, but I won't hold that against him! GO RAVENS! Great conversation, great drinks and great good. Didn't even get a picture of the Chesapeake fries because we devoured them instantly! Seafood club and fries pictured and my boyfriend for the shrimp salad sandwich. Can't wait to go back and try another menu item.
Went for a Job Party/crab feast and the burgers were medium, not enough soup, some crabs were overcooked and mushy, but we did in fact have the area to ourselves. The scenery was wonderful watching the sunset. Parking very expensive. Parking: Gps will have you lost. Be prepared to pay for expensive parking.
The non-orange crushes are not good at all -- so much syrup just sitting at the bottom. They force you to order through the mobile app, which can be a hit or miss experience. If you need an actual server/bartender's attention, it could take 5+ minutes of waiting. They automatically add 20% gratuity, which is a little steep if you are just getting some beers.
My experience today 1/21/21 was unmatched because of the chef and Steve. Steve welcomed us so beautifully and made our experience extremely memorable. Steve didn’t realize it but it was our anniversary, he noted what song I was softly playing on my phone and played it in the Resturant. THAT is customer service! We were shocked, impressed and felt “at home”. We will always be back especially as long as this staff is here!
Nice ambient setting. Found seats and waited about 30 mins.Someone had to let us know how to order from the barcode on our phones. Limited staff, Food was ok. If it wasn't for the Gentleman Mr Jarrin this rating would've been a 2 star. Very pleasant.. The only person on the floor making sure dozens of people are getting what they need..Crab cake sandwich & crab pretzel is worth getting again..Not the Shrimp salad sandwich.
Crabs were a fun experience. The crab stuffed shrimp was AMAZING. I would go and get two of those for my meal. Loved the flavor of Old Bay, but wish it had been the season for larger crabs. Great place overall.
Food was ok but the staff was pretty cold and not happy we were there with a larger party and showed us with poor service. The crabs are good but the rest and the crab pretzel was good as well. I did not personally have the oysters but the table said they were good as well.
over an hour wait for cold reheated "steamed" medium $6.25 each crabs, and broiled crab cakes were just warm. the only hot item was the mashed potatoes, only 3 tables tonight, service was sub-par, waited for manager to complain to but he/she was no show.
