Wide variety of drink specials, 2-4-1s, OVER 100 BOARD GAMES, light menu, and staff that are more than capavle of making excellent drinks!
Came here last night. It was quiet and affordable. Two awesome things: The bartender Katelyn? was amazing and incredibly fun to talk to and made me feel like a regular. Second, they share a kitchen with the Himalayan place next door which means you can drink good beer and eat butter chicken at the bar, which I think is the pinnacle for bar food.
We'd. $3.00 Margaritas were good , food and service was good, however, I couldn't tell if it was a bar or Gymboree, toddlers and babies everywhere, one little guy even had his trucks out in the middle of the floor. I love children, but don't bring them to midweek happy hour! Because of this don't know that I'll come back.
My wife and I went to Portside Tavern for the first time on a Saturday afternoon for lunch and it was a great experience. The bartender was very friendly and informative on the menu and different beers they had on tap. I tried a new beer based on his review and loved it. The food was also excellent and came out quickly. The fries are hand cut and were cooked perfectly. We will definitely be going back to Portside Tavern.
I've been to Portside twice now. The first time, the food was great. I had a burger and everything was well cooked. The fries were nice and crisp and the prices are very reasonable. The second time I went was a disaster. My burger was soggy and cold. The french fries were old. I sent my food back and it took forever. Both times I went were weeknights so the service shouldn't have differed so much. All in all, it's not a bad place to go and eat but it's nothing special.
They have a decent beer selection with 8 craft beers or so. Cheesesteaks are excellent. It's typically a young and crowded, but not too packed, scene on late weekend nights.
Had a great time here last week. They have a TON of board games and even some video games on the back TV. The drink prices are also very reasonable. I'll definitely visit again.
Great variety of games and nice drink specials. A little small but worth it. Definitely a trip down memory lane with all the different consoles. Cant wait to go back!
The food was especially decadent at the Himalayan Yak. Authentic Nepali cuisine at its finest! Atmosphere was very pleasant and welcoming. I cannot wait to go back.
We went here a few different times on our vacation. We only really came back because of the $2 beers. Didn't enjoy the crowd here and the music was far too loud for a bar. Bar tenders were attentive.
