Hands down the best food and excellent customer service, we've had in a long time. Kristen server took great care of us. Family of 5, 3 small kids in a busy restaurant, which was probably understaffed on Easter Sunday, but they had the A Team. No skeleton crew here. Kristen hope I'm spelling name right, seems like the mom who truly gets just how hard it is to take the whole family out for dinner and accommodates to that level. The food portions were very generous. Needless to say that we left with a to go box. I ordered thinking that the portion sizes were similar to cracker barrel, but they were probably double that. I thought after the past 2 years, customer service, work ethic, hospitality were all dead, but nope-still alive and thriving at Bob Evans! The host an older gentleman, didn't catch his name set the caring tone and atmosphere for the whole experience as we arrived. I know it seems silly to leave such a review for Bob Evans, but it truly felt like the good ole days pre-covid. Not sure if they will see this, but thank you sincerely for making our Easter dinner.
Went in to this place! It is adorable and I absolutely love they try so hard to keep it clean. Look in picture they even try to keep their station cleaned to the best of their ability . However... Update 2-8-2022 Sadly to inform that something has gone wrong with the food itself or cooking tonight. I don’t know The pictures can speak for themselves. The on the floor shows that not even the dog would eat it he literally walked away right before I was taking the picture. They did remake us the food. However it was not eatable . The employees are kind but the food does not do them justice.
Ah, Bob's. Being a Texas transplant, I didn't get to know the joy of a Bob Evans restaurant until 2014, when my then-date, now-wife introduced me to the restaurant. Since that was where we had our first date, we're kinda fond of Bob's, so I'm absolutely biased in favor of this chain. Look, you can have your first dates at upscale restaurants, or other places that cost more, but we ended up at a Bob's because it was convenient and she already knew that the atmosphere inside was good for having conversations with the other people at your table or booth. So, if you're interested in affordable food, good conversation, and a convenient location, Bob's is a solid pick. So. This location. Good to go. Busy? Oh, yeah, but not as much as the Wild Eggs or First Watch in the general vicinity of this Bob's. I've been twice in the last few weeks and, both times, it was for breakfast on a weekend morning. For the most-recent trip with my wife and in-laws, we drove past First Watch, saw the jam-packed parking lot, and headed to Bob's instead. Excellent choice. Even with a line, wait times weren't bad. Bob's still does waiting the old-school way: give the hostess your name and wait. No fancy buzzers here. We got to see the nice, clean restaurant front while we waited. And talked with each other, which is a plus depending on who's with you. Definitely a plus in my case. The servers were great - knew the food, friendly, and we never ran out of beverages. On both visits, they were excellent fits for the restaurant. This is a diner where you can get good service, good food, and a friendly atmosphere, which is why it's worth repeat visits. As for the food, it's usually nothing worth writing a whole review about. By this, I mean that the meats are good, the eggs are usually well made to order, and the other food stuffs are also done right. But this is a diner, not an upscale eatery, so you're not going to find some fancy take on French toast or hash browns here. You get French toast and hash browns. And they're good. Worth the trip good. Way better than Waffle House on all counts good. Seasonal fruit plays a role in the menu, so you may have the option of strawberry pancakes, or their delicious cherry bread. It's really good - a great add-on that I highly recommend. For fellow Southerners: yes, the biscuits and gravy are done right. Light, fluffy biscuits and creamy gravy that comes in generous portions. They know you're going to dip everything in the gravy, it's so good. The only other thing worth mentioning about the food is their protein bowl. My father-in-law and I both ordered this, expecting meat and potatoes and cheese and a few other things. We both found some surprises - like sweet potatoes, and some spinach - that weren't bad. They just weren't expected. Overall, it's a good bowl, with lots of meaty deliciousness to fill you up. Also, cheese. I am a fan. Unless you aren't into grilled onions, in which case, this may be a tiny bit much for you. So, Bob's gets my vote if we're in the mood for breakfast or brunch and just want basic diner-style food. Over the years, at various locations, Bob's has consistently offered good takes on these foods. And most of the time, the service is good, the places are clean, and the overall experience is solid.
I ordered from Bob Evans for food to be delivered. When I received the order, my coffee cup had no lid. The coffee spilled over everything. Everything in the bag was ruined. They need better Packers for delivery or take out. That was very, very disappointing.
Whoever cooked our breakfast at this place should be fired! Everything came out Old! Dry! Or Undercooked! I'm talking eggs bacon sausage fake ham and 1 pancake 1slice of french toast fried potatoes. It was one of the worse breakfast I've ordered in a very long time. My daughter ordered the strawberry pancakes you cook see that the pancakes were raw. Why would a waitress still bring out food she can see is not cooked right. What happened to quality control. Who's responsible for the food coming out. It seems no one cares. Everywhere we pay more but sadly. This restaurant like many others are serving low standard food!!!!
I tried to call in a Togo order some lady answered and put me on hold 10 minutes later I decided to drive to the store, while on hold. I pulled into the parking lot with only 4 cars! I get up to the door there is a sign that says they are only doing carry out orders due to not having enough staff. So mind you now it's been 30 minutes now. I stand at the register to place an order, of which I just wanted a qt of chicken noodle soup, for at least 10 -15 minutes and finally the lady that was working, her boyfriend/husband said something to me, I told him what I wanted and he relayed it to her another 5 minutes later finally got my soup and the only reason I gave a 2 is that she gave it to me for free.
The staff was arguing. Being very harsh with each other. Hostess didn't smile, greet, was just in a bad mood. Server yelled at Hostess to not sit anyone else in her section. Hostess said she had large party and couldn't help it. Lady standing around yelled that she was the only one working, that she had to do everything herself. While staff was rushing past her working. After a 40 min wait, we left. It ruined our anniversary breakfast. We have 4 kids that we needed to get back to. Very unprofessional.
Been here a few times. Slow to be seen. Took our order and told us they were out of pancakes after we got our food. Didn't charge us for one of the meals but still my girlfriend was disappointed. Other times we've been here the food seemed Like it was rushed.Food: 2/5
Had to wait 20 minutes to be seated, drink order taken quickly, another 15 minutes for food to arrive, food was tasty, server was friendly and attentive, restaurant was very clean, checkout was quick and we were thanked and encouraged to come again.
I was very impressed with the staff. They were having issues with their online and it was the day before Thanksgiving and although the customers were being very rude and disrespectful it was a great experience. I was kind of disappointed in young man that was working he threw his coworkers under the bus which was totally disrespectful but the rest of the staff was very awesome under this circumstances that people were so frustrated
