Excellent show! Venue is beautiful. Ceiling frescos, entire walls embellished with in wall sculpting of cherubs, people, etc. Ornate gold painted perfection. The musicians hall where the performance was couldn't have been better. Acoustics shine there.
The show we saw called Alive! was amazing, the kids and adults who performed were inspiring and blessed with talent.
Overall, the Wang is about as close to perfection as you're going to get for any intimate concert venue.

Just came back from seeing Sound of Music at the Wang. The theatre is old and majestic to be in and the seats are slanted so most seats you are able to totally see the stage. The downside is that being an old building there are not enough restrooms; however there is a dedicated handicap bathroom. Staff were super accommodating. The sound system and music from the orchestra was awesome. I would recommend seeing a play/show anytime but go in knowing the set-up. It will make your time more enjoyable. P.S. you can bring in soda, water and a snack during the show.

Amazing old fashioned look. We saw a very impressive act here tonight by some young talented individuals. Very impressed and enjoyed it with my whole family. Only complaint I would have is there are no signs to the bathroom and you needed to find some one to ask where one was.

Gorgeous Theatre! Came here most recently to see the sound of music and two years ago Swan Lake. Each time I was impressed with the interior of the building and the performances. The seats were comfy, though the cup holders were a little annoying since they cut into your leg space. It was also a little warm. Overall I had a great time here, it is a beautiful place and definitely worth a visit.

The theater itself is pretty, in an old nostalgic way, but the seating experience is not. Seats are extremely close together, with very little leg room. There are cupholders placed near the floor..Just high enough for me to hit my foot on it. I've had a bone bruise for two weeks.
Viewing angles were fine, and staff and volunteers were friendly. Just be prepared for squishing in, especially if you're in the taller side.
All in all, not my favorite theater, but I do like the events they host!
