Body Chic

I've been going to Body Chic for 5 years now. Marla is spectacular. She is not only super knowledgeable on products and services, but she has all the patience in the world to thoroughly explain them. She leaves no questions unanswered, giving honest and appropriate recommendations. I am always happy with the results and superior level of customer service that I receive at Body Chic.

Why not go to a dermatologist to have the procedures done? Dr. Bush was not trained in cosmetic medicine! Very frustrated by Dr. Bush's unprofessional behavior. My medical office is unfortunately next door to his. He has cashed multiple checks of mine. It is very hard for me to believe that each of my checks was deposited by his office due to an 'oversight'. All insurance checks come with pages of payment information including patient names and procedures that are provided. Most of the listed procedures are routine physical exams, asthma treatments and vaccinations which he obviously know that he has nothing to do with. Shockingly, he was very mad that I brought up the issues to him, instead of being apologetic. If I did not catch him on pocketing my money, not only he got away with it, but also I would pay income tax for those insurance checks. I prefer to spend my time on patient care and not wasting on investigative work on Dr. Bush's misconduct. It has been a huge disruption of my work in the past few years on tracking down those lost checks. I also wish that Dr. Bush return my patients information that was sent together with my lost Amerigroup check. There was no reason for him to hold onto my patient information.

I have went to Marla a few times in the past two years for Dysport which turned out amazing, the results were fabulous and lasted longer than Botox. For Christmas my boyfriend surprised me with a Groupon Deal for 20 Units ( not knowing the last time I had treatment,) ironically I was due for treatment in November. After reading the small print, it stated that this offer was not valid for clients active within the past 12 months ( also expiring in March.) I contacted Body Chic and told them the situation, and I was told someone would get back to me by January 2nd, I went ahead and made an appointment anyway for the 24th because I really thought they would work something out with me. On January 10th someone finally called me back....I was told I could not use it now, that my only option was to redeem the coupon now and they would apply it to my account and to make an appointment for June ( which was a year from last treatment) and they would apply the Groupon of a 102.00 value to the total cost. So out of pocket I would have to pay 150.00. I understand businesses have their rules to follow, but i felt that was an unfair decision and this type of thing could easily happen all of the time. It wouldn't have been a surprise if my boyfriend asked me the last time I had been there.....I would have been happy with them at least applying it now when I ACTUALLY NEED the treatment and paying the difference. Needless to say, I have canceled my appointment, and Groupon was so kind to offer us Groupon bucks towards another offer. I will no longer be going to Body Chic.

Great experience with laser hair removal. Marla is SUPER attentive and gentle. She offers her honest opinion and always makes wonderful suggestions. Each session gets easier and i appreciate the numbing cream prior to treatment. Looking forward to my next visit!

Body Chic is a gem of a find. Marla is wonderful and she takes the time to review whatever needs you may have. The products she uses are the best and the office staff is fantastic. Thank you for taking great care of me:)
