We enjoyed every single wine on the tasting menu, plus a few pours, and left with four bottles to drink at home. With affordable prices and family-run feel, this is a can’t-miss stop on any Willamette Valley wine tour. Highlights included adaptations to the pandemic with hepa filters circulating the air, the full tasting flight served at once to pour at your own pace, and a well-stocked charcuterie vending machine with DIY boards. This is what immunocompromised individuals’ dreams are made of or at least mine. Laura was very knowledgeable and engaging and we could have chatted with her all day! Can’t wait to visit again!
What a really cool atmosphere! From the outside, you may not like the industrial look, but on the inside it’s a great tasting room. The staff here are friendly and helpful. We had a table near a CHEESE vending machine, yes you read that accurately. They offer cheese/meats from a vending machine with cutting boards/knives besides it. Their wines were yummy. It’s the PNW so be ready for a lot of Pinot’s.
When I first opened it, it tasted sour and I thought "what the heck?!" Then i waited a awhile when I BBQ some spicy chicken to try it again, and it was quite delicious and downright big. This Pinot noir needs to go with foods and is not a sipping wine. Just my humble opinion.
Stewart and Athena are the best wine making couple in the Willamette Valley! Great wines from great people. They produce some of the best Oregon Pinot Noir you'll find anywhere, at any price. We have been members of their wine club here for several years, and always enjoy visiting the tasting room. Bert, the tasting room manager is the greatest!
Stellar wines in a fantastic setting, made and served by terrific people! The wines are exceptional and among the best of the region for sure. The setting for tastings is wonderful and quite immersive, making it easy to forget that you’re still in Portland. The team and service is welcoming, leisurely and casual. Friendliness and smiles all around. The charcuterie vending machine is genius and is well stocked with great, quality choices. We love visiting whenever we can.
Found this place on Google maps after going to a store in the area. What a gem! I'm not a Pinot fan but the wines here are very good. I bought! And a charcuterie vending machine? Brilliant. Wonderful knowledge staff. When you think you took a wrong turn....keep going. Nice playlist too.
I honestly cannot write enough superlatives about this little winery hidden on a quiet street situated in the outskirts of NW PDX. A lovely al fresco seating area, attentive and informative staff eager to educate about wines. A vending machine filled with charcuterie provisions, a relaxing, rich and accommodating location that has been my go to for a tasty wine reprieve. Highly recommend... and yes, they have crayons, a high class vending machine, great locally made wines and service that is a joy to converse with... no they didn't pay me for this revue. Try it out, you won't be disappointment unless you are a stick in the mud. ugh superlatives superlatives about this
Lovely, well-made wines. They are smooth and beautiful. Also a great value! Stewart and Athena are two of the nicest people on the planet. Burt is my favorite tasting room manager out of all the wine clubs that I am a member of. His knowledge is unsurpassed. The tasting room is worth a visit.
A wine tasting delight. Sample some if the best in the area. A self service board is available to be filled with cheese, sliced meats and other accompaniments to your wine tasting. Buy what you like and enjoy a relaxed tasting environment.
Best pinots in the valley! Great wines from great people. I have had several vintages and every one is complex and elegant. You won't find many wines of this caliber anywhere.
