BoltBus

I bought the ticket from DC to the station at New York Canel street. But the bus direct go to the station near penn station. And the bus late more than half an hour. The bus is old and not clean without wifi. Really bad experience. Will never take this bus again.

Well, I heard a lot of negative reviews about bolt bus. But my experience with it was fantastic. The bus was on time and took a couple of minute stops in between. It reached on time as well. The charging ports are perfect. The only problem I faced was WiFi. It is really slow and looses connectivity at regular intervals.

I've taken the Newark-DC route numerous times and the buses are almost always late to depart and arrive. The buses themselves are sometimes nice, sometimes falling apart. There's also a very long detour and stop in Baltimore that is quite inconvenient

I think it's a most reasonable transportation for a solo traveler. Wifi didn't work the most of time but I didn't have to worry about my phone buttery while on the bus.
