Very huge! It is like a maze. My boyfriend and I were visiting Ohio for the first time from out of state and we found this place to be the "hot must-visit" spot. I am glad we took the time to visit the store. I actually found a book that I was interested in reading and usually I hate to read. There was no wait for check-out. Quick, fast, and friendly. Most books were also 50% off. Great deal!
Be ready to get lost in these 32 rooms packed with every book you can think of. Also there are great offers on many books ranging from 5-50% off. The place is really nice, but not for claustrophobic people since you have to squeeze between people to pass in the hallways between the rooms. Totally worth it though, very joyful experience.
If you're a book lover please go here. 32 different rooms of books, all different genres, they have so many treasures here. It'd be easy to get lost for hours in this store. Very friendly, helpful staff as well and an incredible coffee shop next door. The perfect way to spend an afternoon.
Lovely bookstore located in Columbus, Ohio German Village. 32 rooms of various sizes packed with books. Some rooms are as small as a closet. Tight spaces that I would not consider wheelchair accessible for those wondering. It's a bibliophile's dream. Great selection of books with the majority being new. A small selection of used books outside just before you enter the shop. We spent 2 hours and honestly could've used more time but were limited due to 2 hour parking.
This was hands down the best book store I have ever seen. It seems to be an old house or multiple old houses that have been transformed into a winding, cavernous book paradise where you can get lost for hours. There is also this really cool garden area as you enter that was a great entrance to the place and was filled with discount/used books. I found multiple deals 50% Off or more on new books that I wanted to read. I cross checked with prices on Amazon and these were cheaper! This is a destination. Stop by if you are in town!
One of the most amazing book stores I’ve ever been. It’s a very cool experience to walk through all the different rooms and explore different sections of books. Definitely worth a visit for any book lover or just a tourist!
32 small cozy rooms of books with subjects from A=Z . Store was packed with customers and the shelves were filled tightly with books. There was a children's book area as well. There are calendars, journals, etc as well as a fair aamount of posters , t-shirts, and the like. A fun place to browse and shop. Nice to see a clearly thriving bookstore.
One of the coolest book stores I have ever been to! 32 rooms of pure heaven! The maze like layout makes exploring even better. All rooms are clearly labeled with topics, you may have to search for what you want which just adds to the fun. Also means you may find something great that you weren't originally looking for. Staff is friendly and very helpful if you need to find something specific.
Best book store in Ohio. Visited many times as a kid back in the 80’s, and I was glad to see it’s still the same! I was blown away with the huge variety of quality international cookbooks, all below publisher prices. Very friendly staff too, just not sure why they are still wearing masks.
Very large selection of bargain books. I wish I didn't have to spend a lot of time reading titles to find what I want, but that's ok. That shouldn't knock this place for all it offers. I still found something I wanted to read. Counter person was very nice and helpful. You get a map for room categories. In the heart of German village.
