Boondocks

i was trying to check out new bars i have never been and i'm glad i decided to give this place a try. the place looks like it would be perfect for haunted house because i felt like halloween came early. the entrance is in the back and when you walk in, you feel like you were invited in this secret club. thursday around 9pm there were some crowd but not too busy. i liked the bar area more than the tables because those areas were way too dark. they have patio seating and upstairs however upstairs seemed to be closed. overall i do think it's a chill spot to hangout. they also had this machine and apparently it's a jukebox. it was cool because i've never seen one in my life!

We’ve had a great time here. Service is generally friendly and warm. Really liked the dude who explained the menu to me. Impressed by the cocktails and food.

HELLO!?! Have we met? My ALL time favorite bar in my life!!! Been going here since they opened in 2006 and STILL esp. EVERY SUNDAY for the free burgers, wings, dogs, chops, tacos, salads and guac big tips appreciated lol. Had WAY too many adventures here that have bordered on crossing the lines of what any sane person would think is normal! BOONDOCKS 4 LIFE!!!! Remember, tip your bartenders!!!!

Can't go wrong here. Low key spot. Everyone's welcome. No pretentiousness. Great prices. Always something happening every night. Its a little tucked away off the main street, but it's also been there for ages. Definitely worth checking out if you're around!

I love this place, the vibe and karaoke nights BUT.... does it have to be 40 degrees inside ALL THE TIME?.. like the COCKY bartenders dont want to be bother unless it's REALLY necessary that the people in the patio ALL THEIR CLIENTELE HAVE TO COME INSIDE and get another drink or is it just me?... STRONG AND CHEAP DRINKS BTW

Great place, great staff, & great prices. I started at this bar and tried to "bar crawl" down the strip. I just ended up crawling back to Boondocks. Follow the red sign if your loaded. ;

I really liked this place, I really did. Keyword: did. I have brought several friends here who also liked it…but, for no real reason at all other than misogyny and a disgusting lack of self-awareness on the part of their employees, tonight was my final experience at Boondock’s. Why? Oh, because some random dude decided to tell me that I was “banned” for leaving at 2:02am rather than 2:00am, and for not having a tab open - because it had been closed and paid for a few minutes earlier. Such a shame that they didn’t bother to let the strange men sitting near me know that they were also banned. One eagerly followed me to my car and kindly begged me to “give him head.” Isn’t that sweet? Prepare yourself for the same disrespect if you decide to degrade yourself to the level of this scumbag bar. But first I hope you will ask yourself if you really deserve such poor treatment. Spoiler: you don’t.

I only come here for the Kinda Super Disco events. Great sound system upstairs. It gets extremely hot upstairs during the summertime, but other than that, I've only ever come on very crowded nights. Nice patio, too, and within walking distance of other bars if you feel like hopping.

Soul Control Saturdays. That's all ima say.

Drinks are strong. Music is dope. People dancing. If you don't like strong drinks, dope music, and dancing on a weekend, this isn't the spot for you. Love this place. Hasn't failed me yet. Update from original review: the boondock is still an amazing place for a good time even 8 months later.
