It was great to be there. I went with my 5 year old and while I was attending a remote interview, he was playing computer games with a friend.
Good environment, wifi, charging outlets, bathrooms and seating areas, there are computers and free printing right now plus outdoor wifi area. You don't need a library card to go in but it was easy to get one!
Is go there a lot and Is fun and good
Beautiful library but there is more to be desired when it comes to selection of books available. Also had very awkward moment when I asked to borrow the library to view a 7 min tutorial. The person appeared hesitant to give me the headphones, acting as if I might steal them, initially.
A beacon of light and hope for the community. A nicely designed building to invite the community in to be enlightened by books, words and data. A place to congregate and have events or meetings. A place for kids and adults to fall in love with books. Gentrification can not take this away.
I've been there for a few community forums. They were informative and pertinent. There will be some seminars coming up, through AARP. They are to tutor Seniors on how to get the most from their Android phone. I'll attend them. I also like the Dudley Station, Library and the one in Rozzy Square along with the main branch. Keep up the good work. Love the BPL.
It's a beautiful building with lots of space and up to date lighting.
