This is a great place to spend some time with the family, and it’s also a good place for Photography as well. They are closed on Tuesdays and for some youth hunts.

I love this place, however, the last two times I have come in from out of state to visit and photograph it has been closed for private deer hunts or some other reason. The website does not provide clear information about these unscheduled closings. My 3 stars is not about the beauty, but about inaccessibility. Now it will be closed the entire Thanksgiving week when the public will actually have time to visit. The state should do a better job of making this public resource accessible.
