Boundary Waters Resort & Marina

I love this place. Its a nice relaxing getaway. Prices are great for the rooms and the staff is super nice and friendly. You also get free use of canoes and kayaks if you stay there!

Was happy with the room and crew there working...Let me.park my boat under the dock when the rain came,helped me with a new battery for my boat...Nice experience all the way around...Will be back...Also nice fishing

Clean, but too high brow for my liking. No bait available on-site. To drive the boat you need to sign your life away, and sell your soul. Oh....make sure you come with a license as they don't tell you that each driver will be required to provide copies of drivers license. In response to your response, Kevin. We were told by someone in your gift shop who answered the phone, that you in fact did have bait. When I say high brow, I mean, thinking that your marina and services are above all others. Staff were short in their interactions with customers near the point of being rude and uninviting, almost yelling in some cases while docking the boat (not to us, but at another customer who was pulling up on a rented jet ski). I'm quite clear on the understanding that to operate a motor vehicle (car) one needs a license. I wasn't aware that it was the same for operating a boat. The boat itself was very clean, and very nice. It was however, very slow....in one situation, the boat had so much trouble pulling the rental tube, that the tube became submerged under the wake. I grew up on lake Burton, which is where we will go next year. Unfortunately, the Saturday that we rented one of your pontoon's, Burton was already booked. Speaking of your pontoon.....did you know that we arrived 15 minutes early, and because of all of your rules and regulations and testing, we were actually 30 minutes late getting on the water. We were told our rental was from 1-6 (5 hours). We were then told in person that it was from 1-4 (3 hours) but that we would "be allowed to come in by 5:30". I'm sorry that the "dock master" took some offense to my original review. I have no plans on returning to your establishment, as Lake Burton is cleaner, more laid back more beautiful, and WAY less expensive. Cheers, and best of luck catering to the yuppies of Atlanta who enjoy micro managed fun. Also, word to the wise......DO NOT LOSE THEIR MAP...... they'll tack on another $10 to "replace" it.
