This campground is very spacious and well kept. There is a day use area with swimming, walk in tent camping spots, RV slots with hookups, and a very nice boat launch. The hosts do a very good job maintaining the area keeping it free from garbage and dangerous tree limbs. Dogs are allowed but must be on a leash at all times (should be obvious but some people don't understand that concept). The bathrooms are very clean and are cleaned twice a day most of the time. Overall this is a very nice place to take your family whether you're just boating for the day or camping overnight. I would highly recommend a trip here.

Was annoued that I have been a long time resident, in and out of this day use and camp ground and this last time, the new camp host followed me around like a hawk. I was looking around for a good campsite and he followed me and rudely stopped me and asked what I was doing. I explained to him where I was from and that I was scoping for my next campsite that had some fishing access. He handed me a map and basically pointed me to the exit gate. I have not been back yet since. I do want to camp here again but dang that host needs to back off or he's going to scare all potential customers away!

This is the best place to launch in this area. You can head out towards the San Joaquin river or over the the Sacramento River. Good central location to fish this area. Multiple lane launch ramps. Campground hosts are right by the ramps and are very friendly. We run several fishing guide trips out of this location. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to launch their boat and fish for the day!

We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. Plenty of room to play in the grass. Only downfall not too much to do if not fishing or boating.
