I have been going here since I was a little kid. Honestly it is still one of my favorite places to go. No matter how many times you explore the trails, which granted, may seem limited, they never fail to fill me with awe. Even on the days that are foggy or overcast, it cab still be possible to find some truly breathtaking spots. The trails are fairly easy, but they have some harder ones if you're up for the search, part of the fun. The campsites are fairly nice, most of them are very open. The whole place is well maintained with fully functioning showers and bathrooms. I love this place, always have, and I think you I'll as well.

Wonderful place to escape the heat. Very busy campground during peak season but we'll managed. $35.00 a night camping fees are a bit much though along with having to pay fifty cents for a 2 minute shower is the only reason for a four star rating.

Definitely the nicest campground we stayed at during our 6 day norcal trip. Most spots are roomy and relatively separated from other spots. Beautiful park grounds with trails winding through the park and along the cliffs at the coast. Excellent views. Each site has a metal food box in which to keep your food safe from wildlife.

Without a doubt the most beautiful campground I have ever seen. The Japanese have a concept called "forest bathing," where stressed-out office workers spend time in forest settings and show measurable improvements in stress biomarkers. I can think of no place in the U.S. that would be a better spot to do some forest bathing than here, as the trees are majestic, the beach is beautiful, and as a side bonus, in September it was the most bug-free campground I've experienced. Very highly recommended!
