This was a weekend getaway for our anniversary. Everything was perfect. Wes and his wife Sue are incredibly friendly and gracious hosts. The Inn is gorgeous, from the 3 season porch to the intricate woodwork. We stayed in the Joseph room, which was much larger than I had anticipated. The bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi tub is lovely for some relaxation at the end of the day. There is a small fridge in the room, as well as a fireplace. They deliver coffee and muffins to your door at 8am, followed by an amazing fresh cooked breakfast at 9am. We felt like royalty! We will definitely be visiting again.

Our book club met at the Brechet Inn for a historical tour and dessert last night. It was wonderful! We were able to tour all the available rooms which were lavishly decorated true to the Inns history as the "Glencoe Castle." The remodeled bathrooms merge modern charms with the opulence of the original hand carved banisters and parquet flooring (different in each room). It's the details that make this place so special. Once you're inside its a while new world, one I'll definitely return to, next time to stay with my husband. Lovely!

The history is amazing, and the woodwork is just as amazing.

If at all you are looking for a laid back, chilled and relaxing get away this is the Inn for you. The distance is far enough to leave the hustle and bustle, once checked in and relaxed you even forget the outside world for awhile. Wes, who we had the most interaction with is wonderful, goes above and beyond and does what it is that he sets out to do from the beginning to the end of your stay, make you feel at home. The breakfast was delicious on both days that we were there. Considering that Wes mentioned that the Inn is a work in progress, it can only get better and l look forward to paying the Inn a visit another visit.

Saturday, April 2, 2016, my family and friends hosted a bridal shower for our daughter at the Brachet Inn Bed & Breakfast. Wes and Sue Olson were more than accommodating and the space was perfect and beautiful for our guests. There were many elderly guests who have a difficult time making steps and they had a scooter accessible for their use, which was so appreciated. I would highly recommend this space for any function where you want it to feel like home!
