Brewers at 4001 Yancey offer well-known Victory, Southern Tier, and Sixpoint beer but also brew locally inspired beers. With an annual capacity of 10,000 barrels, the Brewers will be crafting new recipes designed with the local community in mind.

Story

Brewers at 4001 Yancey: a place where craft beer fans can enjoy all that is great about beer. We’re an innovative, unique group of like minded brewers from Victory Beer Co. & Southern Tier Brewing Co. At this spot we’ve established a new innovation brewery to continue our focus on excellent quality control standards consistent with our 38 years combined experience in the brewing industry. The taproom features our well-known varieties that customers love, as well as exciting new offerings designed for the local market – offerings that are brewed, innovated, and developed in Charlotte under both Victory and Southern Tier brands. Our full-service kitchen and dining spaces allow guests to pair their beers with an equally satisfying culinary experience, where we create fresh menus inspired by the vision of our Executive Chef team.

First, very large outdoor and indoor seating available. Over 50 or so brews on tap, as well as wine and liquor options. I had the steak burger with jalapeño slaw, which was ok. Burger was thin but tasty. Slaw wasn't any slaw I've ever seen, kinda dry. Overall, it's a better place to get a brew than food, in my opinion. Would definitely go back.
Brewers is still fantastic and this time I was able to enjoy their wonderful Thursday Night Burger special that was a fantastic deal. Sitting at the bar, I had excellent service and there was no problem poking away at my laptop as I enjoyed a second beer. This is a wide open space with lots of different seating and on a weeknight, a pretty steady friendly crowd. Definitely a worthy beer spot with many different options, breweries and styles. I had a terrific evening. Parking: Street parking nearby. Wheelchair accessibility: Step free access.
I come eat here pretty frequently. Always great service, food, and overall atmosphere. Perfect spot for a business lunch as the menu has great food that is easy to prepare. I recently had the smash burger Tuesday special. It was awesome. Great flavor and hit the spot!
Great spot for a fun and lively atmosphere! They have a wide selection of beers, including some regional options, and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the outdoor patio is a great place to relax. I highly recommend checking it out!Food: 5/5
Great venue and good drafts - They also sell some merch such as shirts, takeaway beers, growlers, etc. Staff was courteous, responsive and friendly. Had a cider and a sour ale. I recommend. For food, I had a pretzel and fish and chips. The pretzel was done well and came with a very good mustard. The fish and chips was okay - the cole slaw was no good but the fries were good. Fish was okay. I recommend adding some sauce to the cole slaw and serving fish and chips with a lemon wedge. Itd be cool for you to incorporate one of your beers in the batter of the fish. One thing - the tartar sauce was actually amazing. Had capers and dill - delicious. The venue is spacious and pretty, offering indoor and outdoor seating. Overall I recommend!
First off huge fan of Victory brewing so to find this collaboration was awesome. Our server George was great, super attentive and helpful the whole night. Great atmosphere and plenty of pet friendly space including covered patio.
Gabby our waitress gave us excellent service, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Besides being able to answer all our questions about different wines and beers, she made suggestions that turned out to be spot-on. She is the waitress that just makes you feel good about being where you are. Thank you Gabby, for being so great and making our dinner more enjoyable. We hope to see you again when we visit from NY next time.
I really can’t say enough good things about this brewery, probably one of my absolute favorites in Charlotte. Southern tier is known in the base case for extremely good beers and the collaboration here is no exception. Amazing brewhouse, Crystal clean, excellent service, even the soup was fantastic. Put this near the top of your list!! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of “young folks” here in the brewery. It’s a big open air place with tons of seating so it won’t be a problem.
Our server was sweet great recommendations Our food was quick and delish my cocktail Hibiscus margarita was ssssooo good and my husband tried two different beers, we are from out of town when we come back this is the first place we are repeating.Food: 5/5
Our second time here and we had Chelsey as our server both times. Pumking and fantastic service in one sitting?! We’ll take it! The food is rather unremarkable but the drinks and great service made up for it. Chelsey was a treat and made our experience special. It’s rare to find a server who makes Pumking the second most interesting thing at our table but she nailed it. Thank you, Chelsey, for making my wife and I very happy on our workout and beer day! It’s seldom that we have a server that is as witty, knowledgeable, and attentive as Chelsey and we’ll return because of it and the Pumking too .
