I hired Brian Smith (no relation) when my son got into some big trouble a few years ago. He was facing multiple felony charges and a long time in prison. Brian was able to negotiate a great deal for my son, 1 felony and minimal time in prison. Brian kept in constant contact with me and my son and never left us guessing about what was going on. He was straight forward with us and very honest. He answered any questions we had and returned our phone calls right away. Although this has been a couple of years ago, I have found a few occasions to call Brian with questions. Even though he is no longer on retainer Brian still returns my phone calls promptly and will talk to me at length, no matter the question. I cannot say enough about Brian not only as an attorney but also as a decent human being. I would HIGHLY recommend Brian Smith! To say thank you to Brian is not enough, Brian you saved our lives and we could never overcame this nightmare with out you. Brian Smith is the whole package, my partner and I had over a dozen consulations with other attorneys and we chose Brian. Best decesion ever. I must explain our case as a tale of the evil that is out there, it was a year long nightmare from hell. Brian you are our warrior for justice, I am in tears saying this, thank you. My partner is middle 30s from south asia and was expected to be married, his bride was a woman 12 years older than him met on facebook, who lied and stole from everyone she met, he did not know this. I met this lovely individual when she was nice enough to rent me her couch to sleep on for 400 a month, even though she had two extra bedrooms. I recently moved out here and was desperate and accepted. She married my partner for 2 months and went through 30,000 of his savings , buying expensive furniture, clothes and what ever she desired. My partner did not know how to drive and she would not allow him to leave the house except with her permission, this individual has a very sick mind and I saw this and tried to help my love escape. One night we left with nothing except the clothes on our backs and I thought we escaped this monster. Little did I know the Nightmare just began. After we used a lawyer to send her divorce paperwork she refused to sign. My partner thought maybe it would be best ask her mother and father to ask her. They ignored his call and sent him photo message of 4 felony warrants out for his arrest and sent him a message saying they hope he has money or he will go to jail for a very long time, she stole all his money so obvisously we had none except my job. I spent all night in panic searching for attorneys and creating a list of the best of the best. Brian was my top pick because of reviews and his background in domestic issues. But we had meetings with everyone!!! Most seemed ready to discuss their fee before we discuss the case and one female attorney was bold enough to call my partners wife the victim. Brians meeting was different, we disscussed the case, he was extremely knowledgable and made us feel calm even though my love had a warrant out for his arrest and 4 felony charges. Meet Brian, thats all I can say, he has this energy to give hope to the hopeless and fight for the defenseless. We retained Brian instantly and we gathered and prepared for the long road ahead, it was exhausting. From US Marshalls picking my partner up in a traffic stop as we went to dinner, to maxing out my credit cards for bail, to losing friends because they do not think she was lying. We hired a private investigator to run a background check and found out she has multiple lawsuits, tax issues, and fraud issues regaurding her past and everywhere she goes she leaves a tornado of diaster. Brian, his team, and my partner and I worked very hard to gather evidence and show people the truth It has been over a year and the case was dropped recently, the DA could not find this individual a credible witness and would not proceed because of evidence put together by the defense. If you are reading reviews at 2am in a panic and just want to protect your loved one from injustice and need a warrior see this man, this battle is hard and exhausting and you and your loved ones need someone who has walked this road before. Hello my name is Ronnie , I am from Texas, I found myself in trouble let when I owed a large amount to the casino . It was on a Friday night when I had an emergency.I was Google searching for Criminal Lawyers in Las Vegas and came across a few. I attempted to contact a few of them but had to leave a message with their service line and was advised that I will only be contacted on the following Monday. Than I called Brian and the service line picked up I had left a message and minutes later Brian called me. While I was explaining the situation he was very patient listening and taking the details from me. He than contacted me back after 20 minutes with information he was able to find on a Friday night. On Monday am Brian called me and explained the steps we need to take in order to deal with the issue. Not only Brian was able to negotiate a great deal for me but it all happened within a matter of days. I live outside if the US and communicating with Brian was so convenient as he always got back to me within minutes and had answers for all the questions I presented him with.
