SEVERE GERMAN COCKROACH INFESTATION. They are the worst and hardest kind to get rid of. The management is well aware. They do the bare minimum. I was given combat roach motels to remedy the issue. These roaches are laughing at me. I'm currently laying in my bed watching them crawl up the walls. They're inside the walls and simple pest control will do nothing. They don't even send them on a regular basis you have to ask them to!! The apartments have to be torn down and rebuilt to get rid of the issue. I do not plan on renewing my lease. There are multiple maintenance issues but the roach infestation will cause you to have to throw away all your possessions. I cannot take any of my belongings with me when I move, it's all infested with roaches. I would be dishonest if I left anything but a negative review. If you want all your belongings infested with COCKROACHES this is the place for you!
Didn't visit an apartment just dropped someone off. They do look decent and I heard there is a ceiling to floor mirror in apartment
They take forever to fix anything. My AC hasnt worked all summer, and the lights in the breezway have been out for almost a year.
Leasing my first apartment I was very nervous but Mr. Bryan Perry made all that go away. I received some of the best customer service, he was very patient with my questions and answered them all thoroughly and kindly. He made sure I understood everything that came with the property and my apartment and made sure I was set from the very beginning. The staff is very nice as well and seemed to be concerned with making sure there residents are happy and taken care of.
Edit & please read: My husband and I won't be applying it seems. While the office staff is amazingly kind, my husband has several coworkers that live in those apartments and they said maintenance sucks and there are roach issues, which is a big reason we are moving from our current apartment. I will say this might not be an issue for all apartments, but we don't want to risk it. The 5 starts is for the office staff. Original: As of right now, My husband and I will be applying for an apartment at this location when our current lease is almost up. We were treated with so much kindness by Bryan at this location. He showed interest in us and also showed us more than we have ever been showed during an appointment to view an apartment. It is the right price for quite a bit of space, we are doing a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom when we apply. Our appointment actually lasted an hour and it was pretty pleasant. If I need to edit my review at any point, I will. I am doubtful that I will need to.
My husband and I had such a wonderful customer service experience, today! Bryan Perry, Briarwood Apartments Leasing Agent, took us on a tour...and it was fantastic! When the tour was over, we went back to the leasing office, and he was very thorough with explaining the entire apartment application process. He answered all of our questions, and was patient when we conveyed other concerns. The apartment, that we were shown, was very clean and spacious. We were very pleased, with our experience.
I initially went to Briarwood to view the property and speak with the front office staff and was impressed with the helpfulness. I made the decision to move forward with moving into the apartments because they were very close to my job and also inexpensive. I completed my application and prepared to move in. I went to take a look at the apartment that I would be moving into and had minor concerns that I wanted addressed before moving in. The leasing agent, Bryan, told me that he would personally walk through the apartment to make sure everything was up to par for my move in. Fast forward to move in day, I had taken off work for an entire weekend and had family helping me pack and load my things to move. I went to the office to sign my lease and pay, before doing so I asked Bryan if my concerns were addressed and he had no idea what I was talking about clearly showing that he never went back to check the apartment. We went over to do a walk through before I signed any lease and let’s just say it was a disaster. The fan above the stove did not work, the oven would not turn on, the toilet was not flushing properly, multiple cabinets were not closing all the way in the kitchen, one drawer in the bathroom was off track, the fan in the bedroom would not cut on, and there was a crack in the bedroom window. I advised him that I would not be signing a lease with all of the issues that the apartment had. I received a phone call approximately 20 minutes later from Bryan letting me know that everything was fixed except the window. I don’t know how that would be possible but needless to say I decided against moving in and decided to spend a little extra money to move to a quality property. This was one of the most unprofessional situations that I have ever experienced and I wouldn’t advise anyone to rent here unless you have no other choice. If you do happen to make the decision to move to this property PLEASE CHECK EVERYTHING BEFORE MOVING IN.
I just moved to Briarwoods in January 2017 and have only been here for a month and can't describe how happy and satisfied I am with my living arrangements. The staff is incredibly nice and very helpful. Marcus helped me 100% he showed me the apartments, which I loved at first sight, he assisted me the applications and making sure I filled out everything correctly and when it came time for me to move he made sure the apartment had all its necessities and that I was very content with my apartment. I had a minor issue with my kitchen sink and not only did they come the same day and fix it but they came back and made sure it was okay. You rarely meet people in apartment complexes like Marcus that love their job and knows what their doing. I would recommend Briarwood apartments to anyone!
I have stayed in briarwood three times and when I moved out there was no heart feeling. Even been here this time around I have enjoyed it. And it has been a pleasure been here even this time. When there is something wrong I just call and they come running.
To say the experience was breathtaking is a understatement! The staff are so welcoming and down to earth they feel like family! The application process was quick and easy and the response time will blow your mind if your needing somewhere to stay! Bryan assisted me every step of the way and found me the most beautiful apartment for me and my child! He overdid himself and definitely went above and beyond for the customer, New friend,and new tenant! Dominique with maintenance executed the move in repairs on the apartment and took my breath away! I don’t have enough words to explain but definitely definitely definitely you have to see it to believe it! You won’t be disappointed! Big thanks to Dominique in maintenance,Lawana,Tina, and of course Bryan! They are the definition of a team!
