August 2022: Ordered a custom pizza to go. Had pepperoni, mushrooms and bell peppers with the house cheese and red sauce. Pizza was excellent . Crust was thin and delicate. Sauce had very good flavor. There was a generous amount of toppings that had good coverage across the pie! Overall, very satisfied with my meal. I would definitely come back again for more delicious pizza!
This pizza place is inside the hotel. The space is welcoming and the aromas are enticing. We got a supreme pizza. The crust was thin and bubbly at the edges. Toppings were yummy. We enjoyed it! Price was good too. I ordered online and picked it up with ease.
Located in the Marriott Inner Harbor. Great little pizza spot with a brick fire oven, hence the name. Their house specialties are great but get their early because they run out of ingredients on their popular choices. 11 inch pizzas, but the crust is great from the oven and you can customize a pie or one of their selections. They have different appetizers and salads as well. Small and tucked into a corner, but very quaint and the staff is great.
Best Pizza in Baltimore! Somedays I’ll drive the hour and 20mins round trip just to pick up a personal pizza from here. My personal favorite being the Polpette makes it worth the trip for me. It’s made fresh and comes out fairly quick 15mins top! They have specials that change constantly if you want to try something new, however that can be hit or miss but the traditional menu you can never go wrong with.
4 stars due to lack of toppings. Awesome crust, cheese, sauce. Really good but for 16 bucks I expect a little more toppings. Seriously, on one piece there were 4 small ham cubes and 1 small chunk of pineapple. Quality stuff for sure, I know goods cost more right now but way to skimpy in my opinion.
Now 8/2022: so glad still open & surviving - Still yummy! Adding pics including seasonal salad with peaches, tasty! Great place, great food, very reasonable for quality. From 4 yrs ago: Cozy tiny, non fancy, order @ the counter. Very tasty pizzas & nice staff. Pizzas could be shared depending how hungry you are, but good value for $ either way. Typical pizzas, plus interesting combos & specials e.g., brussel sprouts, prosciutto, cranberries, goat cheese.
We were there about a month and a half ago. The cooking area smelled so good, & the young cashier was as sweet as she could be. The pizza was a huge disappointment. The edge of the crust was burned all the way around, & the raw bottom of the crust had dissolved into the too wet pizza sauce. We were so hungry we ate it that way, & it gave us both bad stomach aches because, well, the bottom crust was uncooked dough.
The pizza here was surprisingly very good. Useful for a quick lunch if you are working or attending any events like a conference in the hotels in the area. Note they take 10-20 minutes to cook the pizza. Also, the place is small, so it doesn't have a lot of sitting options.Food: 5/5
BricknFire makes neopolitan-style pies, but with enough structure to avoid flop which is nice. I tried the margarita and pepperoni pies. I liked the margarita, but the pepperoni was strangely REALLY salty. It tasted a bit like parm, so maybe that's where the extra salt came from. Pepperoni is my go-to pie, but I wouldn't get it from here again. My biggest issue is that I was given a 40 min wait time, but it took an extra 20 minutes to get my pies after I arrived. I think my pies were sitting for a while, because they were already cold once I drove the 5 min home to eat. TL;DR - the pies are okay, but not worth the wait.
Cheese tasted sour, pepperoni and sauce rated mediocre. Crust and dough were bubbly and this pie’s only saving grace. Perhaps in store is better, but will not have delivered again.
