Bright Horizons at East 46th

We had a great experience with our son at this location for almost two months through my company’s back up care benefit. They made James feel right at home and made us parents comfortable with our son away from home for the first time. We loved the family atmosphere, where it was common that the site Director or person at the front desk visit the rooms during the day and spend time with the kids. The teachers themselves were wonderful too. You could tell they all loved their jobs and loved the kids!

I sincerely thank all the teachers at BH E46 center. My son attends infant class room since last year September. I am very satisfied with quality of program and well managed facility. Infant class room teachers, not only my son`s classroom but all infant teachers and Directors at school, know my son well and I get enough feedback and informtion daily. I am not hesitating saying 'teachers really love babies'. I see how busy teachers are with babies, I really appreciate what they have done for babies and parents. While my son is at the center, I can fully focus on my job with no worries.

I couldn't be happier with this Daycare center. What really makes it stand out is that staff, including teachers, are super friendly, very professional, very caring, loving, and full of energy and fun. My son, who started attending the daycare when he was around 18 months, now considers this facility his 2nd home. He could be grumpy and fuzzy one minute and happy as soon as I dropped him off in the class. I see him having so much fun everyday while interacting with teachers and classmates, signing, dancing, reading, playing toys, learning arts, simply running around, and even riding a Runabout stroller to take a stroll outside. Moms, I highly recommend this daycare center.

We love this Bright Horizons! Our daughter is learning so much and having a blast! The place is very clean and the teachers and managers are extremely professional. We cannot recommend Bright Horizons E46th enough! Our daughter has been going since she was 4 months old. As every parent might know it is a little scary leaving your children in the hands of others but every single teacher made us feel so comfortable and confident from day 1. They are very supportive, communicative and really care about the progress of our daughter. Cannot recommend them enough!

I couldn’t say enough positive things about the Bright Horizons 46th Street centre. We enrolled our son at 18months in September and have had a great experience so far. The centre itself is immaculate, clean, well kept and well equipped. All the staff and educators are simply amazing and so caring towards all the children. Every member of staff knows every child in every classroom and ensures that they are well taken care of on a daily basis. Ranging from the teachers, Director, to the managers in different areas, they develop such a special and nurturing relationship with each child. Our son has learnt much in the space of 3 months he has been with BH46 and comes home every day with such positive energy. The educators help the children to follow a well structured routine and flourish all together thanks to all the well sta listed and playful activities they take part in. Parents receive daily updates and photos which is just the cherry on the cake! We wouldn’t feel comfortable sending our son anywhere else now and 100% recommend this center to any parent considering enrolling their child. Thank you to all at Bright Horizons 46th Street!

I wish to unreservedly recommend BH @ E46th to anyone looking for excellent, attentive childcare. Finding a place where you feel comfortable to leave your child can be so difficult but the staff at Bright Horizons made us feel assured and safe in doing so. They are the highest level of professional and more importantly they are a joy to interact with. Since starting our then 4 month old in the infant room we have seen noticeable leaps in his development and social skills. The entirety of the staff knows him and greets us with excitement every day. Its a truly wonderful feeling to know that he is well loved and cared for. I think it is important sometimes to take time to write reviews when the service rendered has been exceptional. I am doing so today taking the time to go into the details in the hope that other parents may find this useful too benefitting from our very positive experience and utmost satisfaction with the Bright Horizons Daycare Center at East 46th Street. Our child has developed so seamlessly and well since being at this center. It started with the excellent coordination by the Enrollment Director, Ms. Edlira Blloshmi, who has over the months been extremely patient with us parents, guiding us through the path of transitioning our child back to daycare after two years of absence due to the pandemic. The flexibility and the outlining by the Director of very clear processes for enrollment has made for a very smooth transition for us and our child. It shows that Bright Horizons is a highly professional childcare company with strong management assets. We were well guided by the Enrollment Director who transitioned us naturally to the Director of the Center, Ms. Christina Coscia. Her background in early childhood education and her excellent communications skills coupled with a high sense of flexibility and readiness to make herself available when parents need it – in particular during pandemic times - has been one of the main reasons why we decided to enroll our child in this center. The extensive knowledge in early education also in the public sector which Ms. Coscia has and her comprehensive approach towards parents, makes this Director a highly professional BH member. We knew from our early conversations with Ms. Coscia that our child would be in good hands and this has been confirmed even further when the Director introduced us to Ms. Makini who teaches in the Two’s room. The great communications skills and the way Ms. Makini listened to our particular requests and adapted our child’s care has been amazing. The individual attention Ms. Makini gives to our child who decided to potty train one week before joining the center has been tremendous in convincing us even further - if we needed it - that we made the right decision in joining the center. Ms. Makini, Ms. Cameron and Ms. Keke, the three teachers in the Two’s room are of exceptional quality, very gentle and nurturing towards children and ensuring that in these difficult pandemic times, hygiene protocol is observed also with young children who are as young as two years old – a challenging task in itself but one that they master with great care and professionalism. They engage the children in a stimulating way focusing on sensory, language, science, fine motor skills, music, art and math. The space in the Two’s room is just pure luxury in a city that is short on real estate – very wide spaces to play which is so much needed in a time of still social distancing. The quality of this BH center is equally high when it comes to other BH personnel we have been interacting with such as Ms. Jennifer Edwards who is the Health and Safety Director and has herself an extensive experience as a infant classroom teacher. All safety and health requirements were clearly explained to us by Ms. Edwards and most importantly checked against compliance, which is reassuring for all parents bringing their child to the center as they are all subject to the same compliance. Finally joining the center in itself has been a breeze. The only items we needed to bring were two cups for water and milk, lunch until catering resumes soon, wipes/diapers, spare clothes and spare masks. All in all, we are extremely satisfied with our decision to have our child join the center – we feel totally at ease and would recommend it to any parent who is hesitant in enrolling their child in an educational/child care programme in a context of enduring pandemic. BH East 46th Center is the perfect place for that. Our experience is that our child and us greatly benefit every day from this highly professional daycare center.

After searching for and touring at several different daycare centers throughout Manhattan, my husband and I were so happy to come across this newly-opened Bright Horizons location. The front staff and the center's director, Maria, impart a sense of calm and warmth while maintaining the utmost professionalism. We have been very appreciative of the expertise and caring attention our child receives from her Infant Classroom 2 teachers, - with children of similar age to our own - who have been diligent in sharing individualized updates daily through a mobile app. My husband and I have also been impressed by the weekly "extracurricular" offerings our infant has received in her class, including soccer, art projects, and Spanish. Bright Horizons at East 46th has exceeded our expectations, and we would highly recommend it to any parent looking for top-notch childcare.
