Excellent and peaceful place to get away. Backyard is a relaxing oasis and breakfast in the morning was great. Hope to be back!

Kevin and Sharon are wonderful hosts.  Breakfast is delicious.  The atmosphere is very peaceful and relaxing.  The location is near great parks and hiking.  All of the rooms are beautiful.

Stunning views of the fields and state park on sunny days. Lovely rooms.   You can walk right into Matthiessen state park and to the Vermilion river.

Brightwood is a charming place. It's a little scruffy around the edges but the rooms are comfortable and quiet, breakfast was delicious, and it's conveniently located just down the road from the park. Great for a get away with your significant other. Got kids? Stay down the road.
