Friendly, onsite attendant. Wash is paid, and basic front loaders are 4.50. Dryers are free of you wash on site. The aisles are WIDE and there are lots and lots of machines. There's plenty of free parking for easy access to the shop. I saw singles, families and healthcare attendants getting wash done quickly. The property will do your wash for you. This facility is next to a barbershop with hot towel/straight razor service and hair care. There's a Taco Truck in the front of the building. This has more hours than other shops. It's pretty old school.
Love the people that work here, and enjoyed the locals as well. Washing clothes is long and arduous process, and can be draining. I had a LOT of laundry to do, but though I was there for a while, both staff and customers were friendly and engaging. The place has been around a while, but it was clean, with plento of space to move around. I used the largest machines they had there, and though pricey at @ $11.00, each held and washed 6 loads each. I used three of those, as well as two of the @ $8.00 washers. Dryers are free, and though that is a feature, be prepared to be patient; the dyers aren't especially hot a good thing and run twenty minutes at a go makes for a lot of stop and go if you have a lot to do and some can be finicky where the lint traps are concerned. After I left, later that night I realised I had left my bedding. I returned at opening time the next day Sunday . The Laundry didn't open on time, but my bedding from the day before was still there.
Honest good deal if you bring your own hangers it's by the pound of cloths $1.25 a lbs
Showed up at 948 and got told they were closed. Even though there was a posted sign saying "last load 10pm". And on Google it says they are open until 11pm. And the man was rude. Tues oct 4th
Decent laundry in a pinch. Very, very expensive!! Not very clean. Employees not real friendly.
Many of the machines are out of order. The dryers are free and dry clothes fairly quickly. If you somehow miss a out of order sign and add coins, they will not refund.
It's a good place to do your laundry. Janet has worked there for a long time, and is more than willing to help you if you have any questions. Or you can drop off the laundry, and they will do it for you for a dollar per pound.
Pricey but nice .. great old school pinball arcade
I understand coming last minute and a service person being frustrated, but I got here at 9:58 tonight- the soonest I could get here after leaving work. The sign on the door says ‘last load at 10 p.m.’ Like I said, I understand being frustrated by my lateness, but the attendant told us it was too late to start a load in the washer and last load was at 9:45. I told him the sign said otherwise, but he refused to let me wash my 1 load of clothes and told us to drive to their other location at 23rd! Meanwhile, a couple walked in not 30 seconds before us and was allowed to put THEIR clothing in the machine?! To be honest, I didn’t want to come here anyway- when I’ve been here before at least half the machines were out of order and there was a sign on the coin changer to see the attendant, who told me to go ahead at the machine cause it isn’t really broken and she doesn’t get paid enough to count out $20 in quarters- but it is close to my house and I’m exhausted from a 12 hour shift, and hurting from recent surgery on my wrist and was trying to make my night easier.
I love this place and wish they could afford to stay open 24/7. This is where my kid learn to play pinball and his bouncy ball collection is out of this world. Ginormous washing machines for cheap and free dryers
