We really enjoyed living here. The complex may not be perfect, but it always felt comfortable. Over the years, the complex has gone through several different management companies, each with its pros and cons. Surprisingly, the maintenance never disappointed. They were always quick and willing to solve problems. Now that we have moved, they deserve a review. Pros Location: Most likely 15 minutes from where you need to be. Being close to the highway is convenient. I used to get some traffic on the 610, but it was never extreme. Parking: When I lived here, parking for myself and guests was never an issue. Noise: Some of my friends said their apartment facing the pool was noisy. I used to live in front of the lake, it was great. You can still barely hear the road. It can be a nuisance if you are a lighter sleeper. Neutral Fetch: The complex uses the Fetch package service. Having your parcel dropped off at your doorstep is convenient, but it also adds extra time for delivery. Cons Low Water Pressure - It doesn't bother you until it bothers you. Bulding: Overall the complex is reasonably well maintained but is starting to show its age. It feels that the general condition of the complex is getting worse. Perhaps the volatility of management companies is contributing to this.
Negligent and Shady Management, DO NOT LIVE HERE My sister and I successfully toured this property with leasing agent Charles and liked what we saw. He was very helpful, and with his assistance, we soon signed our lease. However, the property manager did not countersign the lease for several weeks. We called multiple times to no answer and had to eventually come up to the office where the leasing agent assured us everything was okay and complete on our end and the leasing agreement was in place. Then, about 2 weeks before our move in the leasing agent called to tell us that the current resident would no longer be moving out so we could no longer move in. When we asked to speak to the property manager, she said they had to honor the current resident and then tried to offer us 2 other units as significantly higher rates than what we signed for. The property manager didn't even inform us about this herself, she had the unknowing leasing agent tell us and even he was shocked with the situation. Honestly, the whole thing was just really shady and looked like Ashley was in cahoots with the current resident behind the scenes, because it just doesn't make sense how they were able to retain their unit when 60 notices are required. Also, with Ashely telling us that they have to honor the current resident - the unit should have never been put up for lease if it was still under negotiation with the current resident!!! This complex collected our money knowing full well what they were doing wasn't right. Eventually, we were finally able to find another apartment where the property manager was very open and transparent throughout the entire process and quickly countersigned our lease, which just goes to show how negligent and shady Ashley was. Long story short, don't live here. The property manager and management in general can't be trusted. Don't be surprised if you sign for a unit in advance and the same thing we went through happens to you.
Welcome to BroadSplotch Post Oak. I've been living here for a few years. Before the pandemic this place used to be very good: good location, good facilities, well taken care of, pleasant staff all around. Unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse after covid. The carpet and the walls are old and it shows. Except for the first floor, walls all around the building have paint splotches. I've posted some pictures here to illustrate the problem. They have been telling us for more than a year that it will all be fixed very soon. The garage elevator is constantly out of order, as is the coffee machine in the social club. Trash is a problem. The main garbage container is out in the open by the garage in the first floor. It sometimes smells really bad and can be noticed if you use the building entrance in that area. I'm glad the mail package crisis is finally over. Their electronic locker system was failing so bad that they switched to a third party on-demand delivery. For a while we had our packages lying around in the open. I know for a fact that some were stolen, because I'd see open packages with their contents still in it thrown out near the exit, as if someone checked to see if it was worth taking it. I am definitely moving out when my lease is over. It's been some few good years living here, but it seems to me to be going downhill now.
Had a good experience living here. No major issues during my time, except for an AC issue when I first moved in, but it was quickly resolved with the first management team. The current team led by Ashley is good too! Never got to meet her in person, but was very nice over the phone and did a great job resolving any concerns I had over email. My unit was nice overall, like any other apartment you can hear your upstairs neighboor, so experience might vary on that. Luckily I had a quiet one. One thing I would note, is the parking garage is TIGHT. I got in a wreck going up when I first moved in because some idiot sped down. A lot of people do this, way faster than the speed limit in the garage. So be cautious! Other than that, I would recommend this place if your looking for an apartment around the Galleria area.
Have had our air conditioning unit go out eight times in the past two months and it takes days to fix while our apartment is over 80 degrees inside. I have sent multiple emails to management, made almost a dozen phone calls, and tried to go in person and have not gotten a hold of anyone and no one has returned a single email or phone call. - Update, still have not heard back from anyone and the air conditioning has gone out yet again. This complex does not care about the people living here. I absolutely do not recommend living here.
I've been looking to move to the Galleria area and by far this property was at the top of my list. I was able to meet the manager and she was very friendly. When I went on tour the leasing TShonda was very nice and knowledgeable of the property. Best experience I had after touring other properties around the area. I'm strongly considering this spot for my new home.
I've got to share this hidden gem! I absolutely love Broadstone Post Oak... The location is just a hop, skip, and a jump away from the Mall and everything else you need. The beautiful grounds area with lakeview to enjoy a scenic walk with duckies. Plus, as a young lady, I appreciate it's gated and a safe community. I had the most pleasant experience with the office personnel. Terrie Booth was extremely helpful and professional... the way she answered the millions of questions I had and even followed up to make sure I was settled into my new home, I really appreciate. Thank you Terrie :
This is a beautiful facility, I wish we would’ve had the chance to view it. When we walked in as prospective tenants we were not acknowledged. The place was pretty busy which is fine, but the overall attitude was a bit rude and lacked in customer service. I was so excited to look at the property. Maybe this is just a bad day, but there was no explanation, no Hi we will get with you shortly we are a little backed up or we are running low on support, etc. Okay hen we finally spoke to someone, she didn’t even introduce herself or ask our names, she simply stated how busy they were and to come back tomorrow if we wanted to see anything. That could’ve been established 35 minutes earlier with a proper greeting. First impressions matter.
I just want to give a quick shout out to Terri Booth. She is an absolute saint. She’s extremely helpful, responsive, and goes above and beyond to make your experience as smooth as possible. She truly is a diamond in the rough when it comes to leasing professionals. Thank you, Terri for all that you do!
Love the location and loved the friendly staff and manager was very nice. I really had a great tour and will be applying to move in soon. I highly recommend the community if your looking to live in the galleria area.
