This is my first month in Galleria Oaks and I'm pleasantly surprised by the management and maintenance staff. The manager Mary and assistant manager Alie take personal care of the tenants. They are very professional, responsive and sincere in their work. They always seem to help tenants. The community has strict control on all the gates and very strict parking policy for the safety of the compound. They park a vehicle with flashing lights near the garage gate during nights and also have a security person on golf cart at night. I'm not sure if he is patrolling every night edited Dec 20, 2022: both the vehicle and security person are not seen now, probably it was a temporary measure in the past. The apartments are old but well maintained and clean. The ambiance of the community is good with friendly people. Overall a satisfying experience so far. Edited Dec 20, 2022: I still hold my opinion about the professionism and helpfulness of the office staff, as well as the promptness and friendliness of the maintenance staff. - From a verified resident on ApartmentRatings
This house is full of very small cockroaches and very big cockroaches I am really scared and when I told them to spray. say ok But spraying them with poison didn't hurt at all There are cockroaches everywhere you think, and not just in the bathroom think more please I am very sorry to be here
I've lived here for almost five years. Mary and Ali in the office are so sweet and kind, and maintenance is extremely fast to fix anything that goes wrong hardly anything ever goes wrong. I am moving out this week purely due to the rent raising, and I'm so sad to be moving out. The pool is very nice, the grounds are well kept, and the garage feels safe and secure. I will definitely be homesick after leaving.
Great staff!!! There are many wonderful things about living here at Galleria Oaks and this is one example. Houston has seen a large increase in crime and there were thieves coming to the parking garage and trying to steel catalytic converters. It became an issue but management decided to hire a security guard patrolling the grounds and there have been no additional incidents since we have security! This also helps because fewer “strangers” have been walking around the property and that makes it even easier to identify people scoping out the apartment complex. Residents are very grateful to have security and it makes Galleria Oaks a safer community to live in. Thank you very much to management and staff for caring about their residents and improving security to the complex!
My friend and I toured with Mary. She really sold us on the property! Would highly recommend this place. Pool is unique and the hot tub/lazy river is top notch.
I lived here for eight years. The staff is friendly, polite and professional. Maintenance is great. The whole complex is well kept, clean, even the greenery and fountains and swimming pool. Here I was never a number, they knew my name and I knew theirs too. There’s a family feeling, immediately you feel safe and at home. I never in eight years had an issue with roaches, ants, etc. This is definitely a great place to live.
Overall a good place to live. Value for the location is the best thing and hard to beat. Pros: value, location, spacious bedrooms, good unit maintenance, friendly management. Cons: Hot tub has been broken for a total of 4-5 months in the less than 2 years that I've lived here, landscaping mostly died during the winter storm but it has been over 2 months and little has been done to fix it they said they are going to paint the property before replacing it, but that has also not happened after some time, the garage has leaky pipes that should be easy to fix but remain leaky. They lose 2 stars for the apparent inability to keep the property as a whole in good shape.
Allí was soooo sweet and helpful! I really wish we could have leased here but they only have one beds right now I suggest looking MONTHS in advice if you want to live here so you can get your name on the waitlist!
I really enjoy living at Galleria Oaks. I am so thankful for the affordability and comfort of the space during these difficult times. If there ever is an issue, the team is quick to help. Conversations with management feel real and genuine, and that is so valuable when renting.
The apartments are not new, the garage has some leaky pipes, and you get one parking spot per bedroom. Why 5 stars? This was Home. Not a place I stayed. Family. The staff lives on site. All of them. And they have for a while. Not "the rotating staff always had an apartment". It's been the same people for years. They care. This is their home as much as yours and they protect it as such. You're not a unit number. They smile and talk with you about your dog and your new car and their brother's vacation like the neighbor that you are. Mary and Allie are super sweet. This place is quiet. Not dead silent. You're in the middle of a city with about 5 million people, living in a 600-ish sqft box sharing walls with other people living in a 600-ish sqft box. But really quiet given that fact. It's beautiful here. Natural beauty. I love that they didn't replace everything after the freeze. They replaced some things but mostly let things grow into their own. There's just no replacement for that natural look. Can't stand manufactured landscaping. Maintenance. Not 24 hours. Try 24 minutes! It's like they have 5 spare parts for everything in their back room and they fix it now. Like right now. Todd and his staff are absolutely amazing. Safety. Blue Star community. The gates are remote in and out. The mail room has a keypad on both sides of the door. Cameras everywhere. The staff walks the property and the side street every day checking for damage to property or cars. They work with residents and law enforcement if any crime occurs. Again, you're in a huge city. You won't escape crime anywhere. Cleanliness. Not a bug in sight. Ever. As is the case with all things that interact with others, following the rules and being courteous to others will take you a long way. Address problems through the proper channels the first time. For 5 years, my wife and I paid rent every month nearly always on time. We reported issues and/or strange characters promptly to the staff. Treat others well and cover your bases when it comes to those that care for your home. You will be treated in kind. You may be thinking I was paid for this review. Not a bit. Not one cent or incentive. I love this place. Life for my wife and I demanded a change. I'm sad to go. So thankful that I found such a great place.
