Brookfield Family Medicine

In February a Doctor's misdiagnosis cost my girlfriend and her family alot of time and money they can never get back. Telling her that she can only see an endocrinologist in their group who didn't have an opening till August. In the mean time while she waited they told her to sign up for and pay for classes and pay for a dietician all in their grouping. We decided that we were not waiting till August, so within a few days we found an endocrinologist who could see her in a week. After a few appointments there and several more tests we found out about the misdiagnosis from Brookfield Family Medicine. What a joke. I'm sure they just wanted to keep having us pay for classes we didn't need and come August when we saw their endocrinologist they would have said she was all better because of the classes. DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE.

As a patient for 15 years.. And being on a certain medication for close to 30 years.. I find it unbelievable to find out after waiting close to 15 days for a refill on my blood pressure medication.. I just called and was told it was being held up decays I needed an office visit.. Really?? You hold back blood pressure pressure medication from someone on it that long... For an office visit.. Wow.. Once Dr. Pelligrino left.. Downhill ..

Doctors are very good and professional. Office staff and whoever calls with test results and deal with refills are inept and cannot answer the most basic question.Patients are clearly not the highest priority.Very disappointing and scary.

I was recommended this office by a local dr and I’ve spent an hour total on hold over various calls today. The irony, is that the recording said that in an effort to give better service they’ve install the new system, and yet I was on hold for 20 minutes then five minutes then 15 minutes and I finally give up I’m going to see someone else.

Brookfield family medicine used to be a phenomenal facility I don’t know what happened over the years. If you ever get Doctor Stellato reconsider your options. She makes you feel insignificant and dumb for an illness you cannot control and don’t know anything about. She will also laugh in your face. She was very rude and made little to no eye contact. It’s frusterating to be sick and miserable and go to a doctor that continues to make you feel bad. She will also talk poorly about her patients right outside your door. I will be finding a new doctor after going to BFM after 12 years. Truly disheartening.
