Overall just really nice and helpful. Always welcome you with a smile and help you find what you need.
This store items are to much expensive prices, the owner is robbing the neighborhood.
I've been waiting and hoping for a facility like this for the 18 years I've been here. I appreciate having access to fresh produce close by. They have inconsistent prices and are somewhat expensive. In other words, I brought Hagen Daz ice cream three times a week at a different price. It is an excellent place to shop aside from that.
I like this place. The employees are friendly and recognize me even if I haven't been there for a while. They offer lots of produce and health food. I am also happy they offer lots of frozen vegan food options and they change it up every now and again which has me trying new things. I love that they carry Amy's products, especially the soups. It's one of the few places nearby I know I can come to and they offer such a wide variety. I don't drink beer but they offer a large selection of beer it seems, especially foreign ones you may have trouble finding normally elsewhere. They are a bit pricey and I wish they were open later but it's deff my go to for nearby specific healthy options to shop for.
Great selection of foods, but I think their refrigeration isn't the best most of the food I buy from here spoils at a much faster rate than comparable grocery stores. The vegetables here are tasteless. However, the dry goods and luxury items dry sausage, pate, olives are delicious!
Nice bodega with many vegan/vegetarian products. Also a good selection of canned seltzer. Standard prices for the area. They have plastic bags but they have you bag your own items for safety.
I had so much hope for this place but 4 times my grocery order has included expired food or produce with visible rot. The last time I ordered, all the packaged/expiration stickers on the containers of fruit were ripped off and a milk was 2+ weeks past expiration. I hate to leave a bad review amidst a pandemic but this place can't be purposely hiding expiration information.
New management has failed to continue what the previous owners had started. Quality has gone down a lot here in terms of the sandwiches/ cut fruit/ and entire deli section. Stove never clean. Bread never toasted. New type of bread is the plastic/garbage bread that most cheap bodegas use. No longer serving hot foods due to the lack of people coming for food due to the depreciating quality of the entire deli section. I wouldn’t be surprised if they stop sandwiches all together. Worked in area for over 5 years and hate that I no longer have a solid deli to go too. This place stays afloat by selling overpriced organic items and is losing its original touch in the area.
I have lived in this area for 18 year and wish and waited for a place like this to come around. Love the fact that i can now get fruits and vegetables close by. They are a bit pricy and not consistent with their pricing. I.e., I brought Hagen Daz ice cream three times in a week each time the price was different. Other than that it is a good place to shop.
Check expiration dates or go somewhere else. I unknowingly bought an expired block of parmesan cheese a few months ago and got pretty sick. They’re the only store that carries a specific product I like, so I went back for it today. Got to the register and thought to check the date in front of an employee. That was expired, too. He was fully unfazed. Won’t be back.
