Decent selection if you're looking for Korean ingredients. Prices are astronomical. Expired food stays on the shelves so check the dates on EVERYTHING before you purchase. Found a product with mold and staff were very rude when I showed them the product.
Fine selection for super quick convenience, but you WILL pay a premium for it. A roll of toilet paper is astronomical. Price gauging for sure. Unless you're out of toilet paper and it's 4 am - do your due diligence and go elsewhere or you're burning money.
Prices were high, and most fresh fruits packed were with mold. Some bread with expired dates were still displayed. The milk and cheese were highly priced. This supermarket is only for when there is no choice at night time.
3 strikes and you're out. Shopping here for only two weeks, found expired meats on the shelves and their low quality flowers are all dead or dying. The clincher was bread that was stale when we bought it and moldy two days later. Wasn't surprising that they rudely refused to take it back because "we should check it before buying it" even though the sell by date wasn't for another week. The convenience isn't worth giving them any more of our money.
Never EVER, EVER again. This place is around the corner from where I work, and I would be in here two or three times a week. However.....I will never be shopping here again. It's no fun and a horrible experience, to eat a fruit cup only to get half way and find a dead and disgusting insect. Little dude was clearly in it alive as the packaging date is 12/22/2017 and it's 12/25/2017, when we met. Pure disgusting. I'm for ever no longer a loyal customer. Now I have to wonder what other substandard things I've purchased and eatten.
The staff is extremely disrespectful. The cashier handed me my items without a bag, and when I politely asked for one she grabbed my stuff, put it in a bag and threw it down at the table. Like sis it’s not my problem your having a bad day, but you need to find a new job if your going to treat customers that way.
This place is BEYOND expensive, and that's saying a lot when the only other nearby grocery store is Brooklyn Fare. The only reason I'll go back here is for after hours service; otherwise it just doesn't make sense. $11 for a little tub of pine nuts? $2.50 for a box of linguini? No wonder there's never anyone in there! I wish this place would better align its prices with the neighborhood, but until then, they've lost a customer in me.
Too much expensive. I bought a kimchi here today which was almost expired. I cannot eat becuase of bad taste and smell. I am Korean and I know the korean food quality well. Shame on you guys.
For the most part Khim's is crazy cheap, especially their produce. A few things are overpriced but guess what, don't buy them there then. Bad selection of meats and fish but that's not what they're trying to be. Great choice of ready-made items as well.
Lots of organic, health food, and vegetarian options. Great place to stop for a quick $2 cup of coffee plus its organic and you can pick dairy or soy creamer. Really pricey though!
